Schmorble awoke from his sleep; he was lucky to survive the night; he collected his bearings and thoughts. He heard running water close by and decided to head to it. After walking just a bit further, he found a river. He knelt down and began drinking; after about thirty seconds of gulping down water, he heard loud footsteps; he looked up to see at least a 10 ft. tall quadruped herbivore with dagger-like spikes running down its neck to its tail; its scaly skin was a light brown, with noticeable spots on its face. The creature didn't pay any attention to Schmorble, only coming to the river to drink; Schmorble grabbed his gun and headed down the river. He noticed a clearing in the dense jungle about 20 ft. ahead. As he approached the clearing, he saw what looked to be a small bipedal lizard run in front of him, only about 3 ft. tall. "Jesus Christ!" Schmorble shouted. He began to ready his gun, he immediately heard a chirp to his left and saw the creature, it had grey, pale scaly skin, with giant eyes, it had sharp claws and some quills running down its neck, it began to his at Schmorble before pouncing him, the creature was attempting to bite his neck however Schmorble threw him off, while the animal was trying to get up, Schmorble shot it, as soon as he fired the creature's squirming stopped and emitted a quiet squeak, blood dripped down the animal's neck, Schmorble felt terrible in a way, either way, he had to continue on, he marched into the clearing. He noticed more giant dinosaur-like herbivores. However, he saw something moving, the trees in the back; he didn't think much of it. However, Schmorble heard a loud, ear-shattering roar emit from the trees; at least 3 seconds after that, what looked like a large tyrannosaurid ran from the treeline; it was much larger than the carcass he found, the herd in the clearing split up, however, that didn't stop the hungry carnivore, it cornered one of the dagger-spiked herbivores, the herbivore tried intimidating the carnivore, however, the carnivore bit the herbivore's head, and threw the body of the herbivore up, a loud crunch emitted from it, the herbivore went limp, the tyrannosaurid dropped the corpse to begin its feast.
