CHAVI'S POV
After a long nine hours of journey I finally landed back to Goa. It had been just six days since I went to London and I am already homesick, I am missing mom and dad so badly.
I took my luggage and started walking towards the exit looking at my watch wondering what special my mom must have prepared for me. I have no idea who is gonna pick me up from the airport.
I reached near the gate and there he was, my dad. He was wearing the white t shirt which I gifted him on his last birthday. He was patiently waiting for me to reach closer to him, he also had a bright smile on his face. I quickly rushed towards him and hugged him.
"Pappaaaaa.... I missed you so much. "
"Even I missed you beta. How are you? "
"See, I'm fit and fine just like you. "
"Ohhh really? I can see it look how thin you have become in these five to six days."
"Papa, I haven't lost any weight okayokay." I replied to him puffing my cheeks.
"Yeah yeah chaloo let's go, your mom is waiting for you since morning."
"Let's goooooo"
"Come, give me your luggage."
"No it's okay I'll take it, Your daughter is quit strong you know it right?" We both laughed on it and started walking towards the car.
It was already noon when we both reached home and the very first thing which I did was to run inside the house to meet my mummy(mom).
I knew where I would find her at this time and I was right, there she was with a book and a cup of tea sitting on the swing. My mom would always sit on the swing in her room balcony, reading her one of the books with a cup of tea. She always said that this time her favorite time of the day.
"Mummyyyyy....." I hugged her so tightly that I had almost choked her tea.
"Ohh ohhhhh, be careful Chavi."
"Mammaa... I missed you so so much."
"Haa? It's not even been a week yet, and your already missing me? "
" Didn't you miss me? "
"No I didn't, the house was soo shant(calm) I really felt nice without you I dont even have to shout or do your work now. "
"But pappa told me that you were really missing me."
"You and your pappa" She laughed and hugged me. This is the most comforting feeling in the world. I really forgot all my sadness after coming back here.
"Now go and freshup, till then I'll make something for you to eat. "
"Okayy". I went towards my room which was upstairs and jumped onto my bed. I felt as if I was back to my heaven.
