INT - Limousine back seat (Midnight)

"Team 362 sat quietly as the limousine cruised them through downtown Birmingham. Julian, Darius and Max sat with their backs towards the divider separating them from the driver with thick, frosted black plexiglass. Holt, Abby and Miss Smith sat opposite of them. As Abby excitedly jumped up and down while she watched the city lights pass her by, Holt silently nodded his head to Julian. Julian pressed a button on the door, making the one frosted glass of the divider turn completely pitch black"

Julian
That's the mute switch. The driver can no longer hear us.

Darius
That's pretty cool.

"The group travels in silence for a few more moments before Julian lightly taps Miss Smith's leg in order to get her attention"

Julian
(Quietly) Could you have Abby put on her earmuffs? Please?

Miss Smith
Sure (turns to Abby, pulling out her fuzzy pink earmuffs out of her pocket) Hey sweetie, could you put these on for mommy? We're about to have a grown up conversation.

Abby
(Turns to Ms.Smith gleefully) Okay mommy!

"The cabin remained quiet as Abby slowly took the earmuffs out of her mother's hands. She fumbled with them for a few seconds before putting them over her ears. Ms.Smith smiled as she watched Abby immediately scoot back to the window, gleefully swinging her legs back and forth as she watched the night lights fly past. Julian turned to Holt and Miss Smith, a stern expression on his face"

So, what happened?

Holt
Well, we were on the elevator and -

Julian
Why were you on the elevator?

Holt
...you told us to take the elevator.

Julian
You should know me by now, Holt. I was joking.

Ms.Smith
(Red-faced) What the fuck do you mean you were joking?

Julian
I wasn't being serious.

Holt

Ms.Smith
Are you fucking kidding me?! Just how incompetent are you guys? Like, why are you even calling and texting from your real phones in the first place?

Julian
What do you mean by real phone? Any phone we can hold in our hands is a (air quotes) real phone.

Ms.Smith
