A week has passed by and it has been wonderful, except for those times when Draco and I would exchange glares and mocks every time we passed by each other. It was rather hectic encountering that blond man. He gets on my nerves, but at the same time, I was somehow intrigued by him. Like I feel like I have met him somewhere before.

"Hey," I was startled by Hermione sitting beside me in Charms Class. "You seem zoned out. Did something happen or was there bothering your dear mind?"

"I'm alright." I smiled, assuring her. "Just thinking about homewo—" My eyes suddenly gazed at the two students entering the room, wearing the same colour as the robes my nemesis wore. "Are we to have class with the Slytherins?"

"Professor McGonagall made changes and decided to let some 7th-year Slytherins join the class. So there's a high chance Malfoy won't be here since it was only selected I believe?" She replied.

Relieved I was upon hearing that. The grudge I held with my breath released from my mouth ever so gently, knowing that I'd get to focus on the class I favour. He was my classmate in Potions, Astrology, and Divination, and that was already enough classes for me. I could not stand to have another class with him because he got me on my poor nerves and would always annoy me, even if his presence invaded the room. He infuriates me in every possible way he does. Even the sound of his breath could get me irritated, and it wasn't even my time of the month.

However, that joyous feeling only lasted when my eyes laid on a pair of cold grey eyes, staring deeply into my soul.

"What the fuck?" I whispered, immediately turning around to Hermione. "I thought you said there was a high chance he wouldn't be here? I mean, why is he here?"

"High chance, I said. So there's still little chance that he would, and I think that little chance is..... right now." She whispered too, uttering the last two words quickly. "It must have been not selected but his friends might have pulled him into this class."

I guess I'll have to spend the entire year with 4 classes with him, and I do really hope he gets in my way because he may become the reason for my future downfall of grades.

— Draco's POV —

Why would she be here?

Never did I expect that I would be having my Charms Class with her. Theo and Adrian had pushed me to join them even though I didn't want to until Pansy and Blaise joined in. If only Vincent would be here, continuing his school year here instead of in Ilvermorny, I would be able to escape these four. They must've known she was in this class and never had the thought to tell me.

"Come on, Draco." Adrian wrapped his arm around my shoulder as he gazed at the lady I despise sitting across from our seats. "We need to be here to fill in this class since they were only a few."

"I knew you all signed up for this on purpose." I hissed, glaring at him, which caused him to raise both his head on the level in his head.

"Relax, mate, and who knows, maybe someday you'll love her in a romantic way." Pansy chuckled, with a mischievous grin on his face. "And besides, maybe it's time for you to—"

"To what?"

"Since you have been sing—"

Everyone turned silent when Professor Flitwick entered the room as he greeted the students 'Good Morning' and so did they. Pansy wasn't able to finish her sentence as we sat down and faced in front. Indeed, I was glad that she wasn't able to because surely if Adrian, Theo, and Blaise had heard it they would have teased me and made a whole irrelevant scene all over this room. They always make a scene over unnecessary things and girls would drool over them.

A yawn escaped my lips after we left the room, going through the corridor to make our way to our next class, which was Defense against the Dark Arts, a class I wasn't excited to attend since she would be there. Her smile somehow irritates me, even her laugh. It bothers me so much that I cannot focus on every class we take together.

She walked past us with Dean Thomas talking about what they had learned in Charms, talking about spells and their homework.

"Quit staring, Malfoy." A deep laugh was heard behind me and saw him smirking as soon as I turned around. "It's obvious."

"Obvious what, Pucey?" I glared.

"That you really do like her and you're just afraid to admit it." He added.

"Fuck off." Then there I stormed off, avoiding any further of their teases, especially when Pansy was about to start another. I knew when Pansy started to tease, it'll just piss me off and it'll be never-ending.

As I arrived at the Defense Against the Dark Arts Classroom, I saw her sitting beside Potter with her chin resting on the palm of her hand. She was talking to him...well it wasn't only him, but also with Granger and Weasley. Shouldn't she be with her housemates instead of being with the Gryffindors? It is not that I have something against the Gryffindors. My relationship with the three has changed ever since the war ended after they helped me from the fire and after I helped Harry by tossing the wand to him. Though we're not friends or anything, I do admit that there's still a slight hatred I feel towards them since we do have a history of me bullying and teasing them to annoy and make them feel bad about themselves.

I sat far from them, in order to avoid hearing any of their conversation. It was somehow hard for me to overhear her conversations with someone every time my seat was a bit near hers. I observe too much about her. Observed how her eyes were always staring at the person she was speaking with and how she smiled when she found the conversation interesting.

"I forgot to tell you, Draco." Blaise sat next to him while the other Adrian and Theo sat at the table next to them. Pansy, however, sat on the other side of Draco and Blaise's seat with Daphne Greengrass as her seatmate. "Did you know she's from France?"

"Yes, Blaise, it's not like it wasn't a talk of the school," I grumbled as I opened my book.

"Well, you still do not know the rest, I presume." Blaise cleared his throat. "But fear not, my friend, I shall tell you the rest of the story."

"You sound like a man from the 19th century." Pansy laughed along with Daphne.

"Shut up, Parkinson." He glared at her. "Anyways, I heard that her mother carries the blood of one of the families from Sacred 28. And guess what?"

"I do not—"

"That girl." He eyed at Y/n. "She carries the blood of Macmillans. Therefore, she may be related to Axton Macmillan, who had graduated years before the war. I assume we were still 5th years those times when he graduated. However, it is not only that she is a Macmillan, she also carries the name of one of the longest family bloodlines in France. Furthermore, Macmillans are friends with the Weasleys, so it is no wonder why she's with them."

"I do not care, Zabini." I scoffed. "All I wanted is not to be in the same class as her, not you telling me about her."
