Minjee's second home these days wasn't her cozy apartment or her favorite coffee shop - it was the practice room.

It was usually buzzing with fellow dancers, but now it was just her, the haunting tunes of Swan Lake playing in the background, and the soft thuds of her pointe shoes hitting the floor. She was all in, practicing for the roles of the white and the black swan, but it was Odette's white swan she was most focused on for the upcoming Grammys.

With the event just around the corner, she could practically see herself there, under the bright lights. She'd be dancing in front of millions soon, and the thought both thrilled and terrified her.

Her rehearsal schedule was insane. Day in, day out, she pushed her body and mind to its limit. But giving up? That wasn't in her vocabulary. She was determined to nail this, to bring Odette's story to life with every move she made.

She would not let her trainers down for giving her this opportunity.

Her reflection moved with grace and precision, yet the slight tremble in her limbs didn't lie - she was pushing hard, maybe too hard.

Belle, having stayed back to assist, watched from a corner, her eyes following Minjee's every leap and turn.

"You know, it's not just about nailing those steps," Belle paused the music, making Minjee stop and listen. "Odette's strength lies in her vulnerability. Let that shine through."

Minjee nodded, sweat glistening on her forehead, her breaths deep and even. "Got it. I'll run it through a few more times," she said, determination clear in her voice despite the obvious tiredness.

Belle stepped closer, concern written all over her face. "Minnie, you've been at this for hours. How about we wrap up for today? You're going to be spectacular, but not if you wear yourself out first."

She had a point, and Minjee knew it. But, man, was it hard to step away.

"Okay, okay, but I will stay just a little longer," she compromised with a weary smile. "Just one more run-through. You don't have to stay, go and get some rest."
