Following a check of her systems at Gosford, Lady Herron found her hull was operating like clockwork and it was sound for a return voyage to Sydney but it was then that something caught her eye. Former tender John Oxley was able notice while everyone was talking with Yura.

JO: Something wrong, Lady Herron?

Herron: Over there. Does that look familiar to you?

JO: (Strains her eyes) Is that...?

Herron: Her hull did sink into the mud and was scrapped in 2005 right here in Gosford.

JO: You mean Karrabee, Kanangra's sister?

Herron: Not sure. Haven't seen her since the 1980s after the incident at Circular Quay.

JO: I remember that.

Herron: Hold on, that's not Karrabee. Her hair was chestnut brown and that girl has orange hair. Don't think I've met her before. Get Kanangra.

JO: Sure thing. (Heads below deck and hearing the conversation)

Yura: Many of my fellow Sakura Empire KAN-SEN were brave souls to the end. Yuudachi and her firey dog-like nature at Guadalcanal, big sister Nagara's resourcefulness. May they rest in lasting peace.

Kanangra: I can share the same. A large number of my sisters had their hulls scrapped and are deceased. I may as well be the last K-class KAN-SEN left.

Waratah: You did all you could, Kanangra. I'm sure your sisters would be proud of how you've come.

JO: Apologies for interrupting this conversation but Kanangra, you're needed above deck.

Kanangra: What for?

JO: Come and have a look.

Kanangra: Excuse me, ladies. (Walks upstairs to where Lady Herron was) Alright, what is it?

Herron: That figure over there. She a sister or an old college of yours?

Kanangra: (Looked from the ferry and sees a girl with orange hair wearing the same outfit as her) Could it be? K... Kubu? Kubu!

"Kubu": Coo-ee!

Kanangra: It's her! It's my sister! Kubu! Come aboard! Lady Herron, get closer to shore so she can come aboard.

Herron: Ok, if you say so.

Lady Herron moved her hull towards the jetty and opened the gangways on the port side. Right after they opened and hull had stopped moving, the orange-haired girl jumped from the jetty and onto the ferry. Kanangra ran downstairs to greet the girl herself. Her own sister she had not seen since the 1960s; SS Kubu.

Kanangra: So this is where you've been for the past 70 years? Why didn't you contact me?

Kubu: I didn't know you had the modern communication needs. It's so good to see you again.

It's so good to see you again
