Laying down on Wonwoo's chest was exactly what Inha needed after her overwhelming high. She felt secure to know that she wasn't the only one with an erratic heartbeat and that her husband was equally exhilarated as her.

"Did I hurt you Inha-ya? Do you feel any pain now?" He asked her, kissing the top of her head as he embraced her naked body under the sheets.

"No, no, it's okay, the first time is bound to hurt anyway. I am fine now though" she said, tracing patterns on his strong chest. Ever since Wonwoo embraced and cuddled her after their consummation Inha couldn't help but shed a joyous tear at their activities that unified them as one whole being. She felt elated, happy and in love.

"I love you" she said, now tracing his abs with her finger, not having the courage to face her husband lest he gets concerned if he sees her tears.

Meanwhile Wonwoo couldn't believe what he was hearing. He held her hand that was tracing patterns on his body and intertwined his fingers with hers.

When Wonwoo signed up for the wedding with her, he didn't expect his wife to be someone who suffered a lot of trauma. Ever since his engagement he knew he had to be patient with her. And now to have her all exposed and vulnerable right next to him, who got excited merely by his single touch, made him feel guilty.

What if she wasn't ready. What if I pushed her. What if she said yes to sleeping with me because of society's expectations…

The manipulative 'what if' questions plagued his head. Even if deep down he knows that Inha consented to have sex with him due to their growing relationship, as a man who was told not to startle her because of her trauma, couldn't help but feel guilty and he blamed his male urges for that.

"I love you too sweetheart" he said, his voice vulnerable and shaky as it finally registered that even if she had gone through so much, she decided to trust him with her life her body, her soul and Wonwoo was grateful for that.

"Why are you crying?" Inha asked, alarmed. Seeing him shed a tear, opened her floodgates, one that she desperately tried to close for his sake. But hearing his croaky voice confess back to her only overwhelmed her further which made her hug him even more tightly.

"I am crying because I am happy," he said, getting up suddenly and pulling her towards him. He needed her to be close to him. He wanted to show her how much he needs her warmth as he nestled his head on her bare chest.

"I am happy to have you in my life, Inha" he said and broke down into tears as he held her tenderly against him. And that's all it took for Inha to break down completely in her husband's embrace.

"I am happy to have you too Wonwoo. I finally found the light at the end of my tunnel" said Inha, holding his head tightly against her chest so that he can hear her heartbeat that beats only for him. The couple found comfort in crying in each other's arms as the night grew darker but it only made the resolve to love, protect and respect each other grow much stronger.

Miles away from the couple who found solace in each other's embrace, a husband was listening to his wife's conversation with her mother. He held her hand until she cut the call and Ayat looked at her hand that was encased in her husband's hand and let out a tired sigh.

"What did your mom say, Princess?" He asked, now drawing circles on her wrist to ease and comfort her. He knew she was distressed and tried his best to comfort her.

"They are still in the hospital with Hoshi and Woozi." Ayat said in a low voice.

"It's okay, they'll be fine. Your parents are with them in LA. It will be fine" the man said, assuring her.

"I can't imagine what that poor girl might have gone through, Taha! On top of that mom said Hoshi was not eating and Woozi had to force him to eat" Ayat cried out, hugging her husband as she needed his warmth and comfort as she thought about the predicament that her friend Hoshi was in.

"Shhh… it's going to be okay." Taha assured her, stroking her hair. As she was alone in the comfort of her house with her husband, Ayat didn't wear her hijab and was in her pajamas.

"I checked the financial statements that you sent earlier," Taha said, trying to change the topic.

"Did you find anything regarding Inha's stepmom?" Ayat asked, looking at her Financial Lawyer husband. Ayat's grandmother had sent a couple of documents to Ayat after she managed to dig around for information regarding Inha's vile stepmom which included a couple of bank statements and portfolios regarding stocks and shares that she held in KN Pharmaceuticals along with her father's assets. Ayat immediately sent those to her husband who was an expert in Finance and Business Law who also served as a Financial Advisor to HYBE labels.

"I did," Taha said, bringing out his iPad and showing the files to his wife

"See this?" He pointed to a figure in the stepmom's stock portfolio and sure enough there were a few shares from KN Pharmaceuticals.

"Now look at the date of when she acquired the shares and compare it with this," Taha said, now pointing to Inha's mom's portfolio. Ayat was able to see how the mom's portfolio was devoid of any shares a few days before she passed away which matched with the date the stepmom acquired the stocks.

"So the stepmom stole Inha's mom's stocks?" Ayat asked him. "But where are the rest?"

"It could be that Inha's mom decided to transfer her shares to people around her before she died. After all, the stepmom was her secretary, so maybe she wanted to give it as a gift or something" Taha said, which confused his wife.

"I am sorry, did you say Secretary?" Ayat asked, looking at her husband with a bewildered look. "Taha, are you saying this woman was Inha's mom's secretary?"

"You didn't know?" Taha asked her "It was in the profile that your grandmother collected about her"

"No, I didn't check that. You know I was busy with the whole Hoshi situation and so I just forwarded the mail I got from grandmother when I saw it had financial statements."

"It's okay, I understand. But this is what I found. It may sound suspicious, but as you know transferring of shares is very common. Even you have received a few from your parents and grandparents as gifts. So this could be like that." He said, but Ayat could see her husband deep in thought. She found it insanely hot whenever he spoke Business and Finance because everything sounded Greek and Latin to her.

"However…" he continued "as far as the rest of the shares are concerned, it could be in a custodial account under Inha's name because she was a child when her mother died. She could have transferred her shares to her child for her future. Are you aware if Inha has shares in her father's company?" Taha asked his wife

"I am not too sure. We could talk to her once she gets back from Busan"

"Okay. I'll talk to them. Meanwhile I'll also try to dig around using my sources and contacts."

"Thank you Prince Taha Al- Watania" Ayat teased her husband, calling him by his Royal title. Afterall, he wasn't just a Financial Lawyer but a Prince of the State of Qatar, their marriage bringing the Royal families of UAE and Qatar together.

"Anything for my Princess and her friends" he said "Now shall we head to bed? You must be tired"

"Yes please, let's go" Ayat said and the couple prepared for their night.

Hi guys! Long time no see.
I finally wrote this chapter after days of deleting my drafts. I really wanted to write from Ayat's perspective as she tries to help the members with whatever problems they have. That's why I created her as a canon character instead of using other members to solve their problems. She'll be a recurring character in all the other stories as well.

Anyway, I know it was quite a technical chapter due to all the finance talk. I literally had to research on stocks and shares to write it lol!

I hope you like it and do vote and comment.!

P.S: This book hit 4K reads? Hello! 👀

Love,
Aara :)
