Stuck in the middle

Back to Antonia's POV    

    Hope finally unties me, "I'm sorry Hope I should've listened to you" Hope sighs and says "Yeah you should've" she looks away "I told you these people are dangerous".

  "Yeah I figured that out now" I say.

We tiptoed to the entrance but we get caught by some guards, Hope grabs my arm and books it.

  Once we get to the front yard there's a bunch of guards in our way, Hope whips out gun and starts shooting at the guards.

    She dodges their fists and shots, Hope gets caught off guard and she gets knocked "HOPE!"

   I quickly reacted and grabbed her gun, I start shooting but then I ran out of bullets.

I see a guard running towards me I throw the gun in his face knocking him down.

   I start fighting off the guards with my bare hands, I kick one guard in the head and punch the other one.

I fight off the last guard after knocking him I see no guards in sight. I run over to Hope, "Hope are you okay?"

   Hope stares at me in shock. "Hope?" she finally speaks "How-" Hope can't find the right words "Do you need a medkit Hope?"

  "Antonia. Answer the question."

Hope grips my arm while giving a serious look, I look away. "Um that's not important..." I grit my teeth, I pull my arm away from her grip, I get up and drop a medkit next to her.

   I start walking away and Hope gets up and grabs "Antonia tell me." I turn around.

"Back at my old island, I had a business partner, my best friend. Nolan, we were thief's and performed excellent robberies until one got messy and Nolan used me as bait and left me behind, he took all the loot."

"After that day I decided to get my revenge on him. I was hired to be his boss on a different mission that was very important to him so I sabotaged it and got my revenge then left the island." I say sadly remembering that.

   Hope caresses my check "I would never do anything to hurt you, you can trust me Antonia" she softly looks at me. My cheeks flushed, I hold Hopes hand "Let's get gotta here" we get on her motorcycle because my hoverboard is broken.

I tightly wrap my arms around her waist and lay my head on her back, "This reminds me of when we first met" I see Hope looking at the rear view mirrors we make eye contact through the mirror, she blushes before accelerating.

   We finally get back to the Underground headquarters, everyone is shocked to see me. Dara runs and jumps onto me "Antonia I thought you died!"

  Hope giggles "Actually Antonia saved my life back there" everyone looks at me in shock, "HOW?!" Dara asks Hope, "Antonia is actually a great fighter" everyone starts praising me.

   Everyone was celebrating that Me and peely got home safe, people were drinking, eating, singing karaoke and dancing.

   I look over at Hope laughing at Jonesy's singing, I walk over to Hope and she looks over at me "Hope I want to show you something" Hope follows me to into my room.

I open one of my bags and pull a mask, I put it on and I see Hope staring at me through my mask. "I would wear this on my missions, I used to hide my identity, I was called Masque." Hope steps towards and slowly removes the mask.

    "I think you look better without no the mask Antonia" Hope says.
