The trial began the next week. It was long and tiring. Minjun was exhausted. He'd kept to himself from the moment the trial started till the end. He was cold and distant. No one could read him. Not even me. That terrified not only me but everyone else too. We couldn't figure out what was going through his head. It was the final day of the trial. It had gone on for three weeks. The judge sat quietly as he decided his final judgment. Junie and Juwon were sitting in between the rest of us. Their nerves were high. It was obvious by the way they held each other. The judge finally sighed.
"I've heard both sides. Neither of which should have ever occurred. Minjun and Juwon should have never experienced the pain they went through." He turned to the bastard that hurt Juwon and Minjun. "I declare you guilty. You are hereby sentenced to 50 thousand dollar fine and three years in prison. I also except the terms asked. Black Whisper and Caplen 5 now own the all rights to their music and names. I'm also ordering FNC Entertainment to pay both gentlemen 5 million each for emotional and physical damage. This court is adjourned." The CEO slammed his hand on the bench while the rest of us cheered. Everyone but Junie seemed to be happy. He began to stand but I stopped him. I turned to the guys and motioned them to leave. None of them questioned me. They understood. They left Junie to me. He raised a brow at me but didn't say anything.
"Junie, I want to take you somewhere." He hummed.
"Can't we just go home and sleep?" I shook my head.
"No. Come on." He sighed and stood up. I wrapped my arm around his waist and smirked as we walked past the bastard. Something about the look on his face made me happy. We headed to my car and got in. I quickly put his seatbelt on before putting mine on. He reached for my hand and linked our fingers together.
"Where are we going?" I glimpsed at him and smiled.
"We're going to a place that I think will put a smile on your face." He raised a brow.
"What is it?"
"It's my plan b, love. You're going to love it." We drove to the other side of the city and pulled into an empty building. No one knew about my little plan because I'd started working on it before Minjun left. He was supposed to be the first to see it which was why I hadn't shown anyone else. It was a benefit to everyone but it was for Minjun. I'd bought it for him and I'd started working on it for him. He began to hum in confusion as I turned the car off.
"Hyung?" I stepped out of the car and walked to the other side to open his door.
"Come on, baby. I've been working on this for months. I want to show you already." He sighed and got out of the car. He looked around as if to make sure no one was watching before grabbing my hand. I chuckled and directed us to the entrance. The repairs and construction was almost done but there were a few little things that needed to be fixed. His mouth dropped when we got inside.
"Hyung... did you?" I nodded.
"This place is ours. I've been working on it since before you left. I wanted you to be in a place where you felt completely safe and I realized the only way I could be sure of that is if we opened our own company. It's for all of us but I specifically bought it for you and created it in your taste. I can take you on a tour if you'd like." His eyes were sparkling when I turned to him.
"You did all of this for me?" I nodded. "Why?" I pressed my hand to his cheek.
"I did it because I love you and because this is my way of proving that love. I want you to always see me as a safe place. I want you to see this place as a safe space." I wiped a stray tear from his eyes.
"You didn't have to do this." I shook my head.
"I did. This is important to me because it's important to you. I could afford it so I did it. This is you and me." I gestured around. "This is us." He didn't say anything. He just studied me. He wanted to know if I meant my words. He finally sighed and leaned up to kiss me. The kiss was far from sweet. It was hard and earnest. He wanted more than a kiss and the thought made my body buzz with heat. He pulled away and looked up at me.
