Forbidden love

The bright sunrays making the whole room glow with so much brightness broke my deep, tired slumber.

I squeeze my eyes squirming inside the duvet. But then, the memories of last night came flooding inside my head.

I hurriedly throw the duvet off my face and look beside me where Jungkook had slept last night. Suddenly, a weird disappointment cripples me. I was hoping for his presence.

He did told me last night, he needed to go early.

Yet still..

I need to practice. It's already late.

I was thinking and figuring out what to do when Aera walks inside the room holding a rolled paper with a thin cloth tied around it. She holds it out to me saying " From Prince! "

Jungkook?

I take the paper from Aera's hand, that almost looked like I'm snatching it from her hands. She stiffens a little. Didn't caring about anything, I immediately hold open the thick paper in my hands to read his message.

Get ready after the noon, after having your lunch, we'll be going to a certain place. Wear the dress I've sent! And yes, I'm working!

Working?!

Then, I realize, he's teasing me because of the false assumption I'd made about him the last night. I shouldn't have speculated him without doing some spying on him. Now, he's teasing me with this.

" And! " Aera says while taking out a square shaped something that's been wrapped with thick paper, without any trace of the thing it is wrapped around and one thin jute rope tied in cross above it.

" This is also from the Prince! " she says. " I received both this letter & this package from Crown Prince's aide and he specifically mentioned to carefully handover these to you without anyone else knowing. "

Where is he planning to take me?! I couldn't help but get curious.

Aera bows and takes her leave hurriedly saying " Princess, call me if you need help in getting dressed, I'll be there in the kitchen! "

And she leaves.

I keep the package on a small wooden chest kept beside the head of the bed & get off from the bed for my practice.

After taking a fresh bath finishing my regular practice feels like heaven. Coming out from the bath room with only a single stretched cloth wrapped around my body from my chest to ankle, i look at the sun rays falling inside the room. They've drawn back. It means the sun is present straight above the head. It means, it's afternoon!

Oh no, I haven't gotten ready yet! Jungkook will be here anytime!

Thinking that I rush over near to bed where Aera had laid the dress Jungkook had sent, on the mattress. It's a thin fabric dress. I was staring at it with a deep frown on my forehead when I hear faint footsteps approaching inside my room. They stopped for a while but again started approaching behind me.

Thinking of the person as Aera, I turn back asking " I'll wear it, but- "

But the moment I see Jungkook standing there some two feet away from me, the rest of my words vanished into thin air. I stood there mouth open & eyes widened.
