We eventually got back over to the Adventurer's Guild to confirm the completion of our quests.

"You are such a hard little worker Fran!"

"Nn."

Nell handed us a small bag containing our quest rewards.

"Oh, Fran. Klimt wanted to see you once you came back from your quests."

"Nn? Why?"

"It is likely important. He didn't give me details though."

"Nn."

(Master?)

[I don't see any problems with it.]

We made our way over to Klimt's office and knocked on the door before being allowed to enter. Before Fran would usually try to barge her way into my room but I had to teach her a bit about manners, especially not entering until being permitted. She was not that well-versed outside of combat so it was common for me to find Fran doing something that others might consider rude.

"Welcome Fran, it's nice to see you again."

"Nn. You call me up here a lot."

"Do I now?"

"Yes. You do."

"My apologies Fran but it isn't my fault that you have left such an impact on Alessa and the Guild, if you were a little less of a shining star, you wouldn't have to worry about such things."

"What did you want."

Fran had redirected the conversation back to the main topic. Klimt called us here, we needed to know why.

"Many of the outside guilds are beginning to doubt your capabilities. I attempted to vouch on your behalf but many others wanted actual proof of your accomplishments before they would trust that a twelve-year old was capable of such things."

"Ok?"

[Isn't she doing enough quests?]

"?!... oh it's you again. For once I wish you didn't talk with me through telepathy like this."

[Annoyed a bit?]

Klimt sighed as I chuckled a bit. He didn't seem to like me talking out of the blue like this. He placed his hand over his face before looking over at Fran with a rather serious expression.

"While the quests are a great sign of your accomplishments along with the word of mouth having gone around, they want a more substantial view of what you are capable of."

Fran just stared at him for a bit. I was confused as well... wasn't saving Alessa enough of an accomplishment?

"I know... unfortunately, word of mouth doesn't travel so quickly when our city is rather cut off from the rest of the nation. The saving of Alessa should sure enough be an accomplishment but the doubt remained regardless. Not to mention but, some certain individuals need to see your capabilities."

"Certain?"

"Many D, C, and B-Ranks have already greatly acknowledged your accomplishments in the guild. They are beyond baffled at how quickly you chug through quests and how clean your record is with many giving you high praises. Some have even attempted asking staff about your supposed master since they want to receive the same training that made you who you are."

Fran smiled a bit after hearing that.

(Master is getting popular!)

[The popularity is only really thanks to you.]

I've been fawned over by so many people before that I didn't mind the newfound popularity in this world. It would certainly attract unwanted attention but we could deal with that when it came against us.
