Many years ago, mankind was faced with a Divine fury. In an event known as the "Day of the Cataclysm," our entire world was turned to chaos. Flames raged with an intensity that threatened to reduce mankind with all their knowledge to ash. The places they lived, the languages they spoke, their cultures, and even the religions they had built—none could escape its wrath.

Only a few remained untouched by the engulfing flames, instilling fear in their hearts. Despite numerous efforts, the world was forever changed. Yet, a glimmer of hope emerged as the very elements began to respond to their command, offering a beacon of light.

[Fire]

[Water]

[Earth]

[Wind]

The emergence of these abilities laid the foundation for the creation of groups known as Clans, each encompassing individuals with mastery over distinct elements.

The Clan of [Fuego] was widely known for its member's strength while being slightly feared for their deep connection with the element of Flame, the same element that brought their world to its knees.

The [Mizu] Clan, masters of water, were a calm and educated group with most being dubbed geniuses by the age of six. Despite their peaceful demeanor, they were also skilled in the art of battle.

The [Aeolus] Clan, distinguished by their enchanting green eyes and mastery over the element of wind. While adept warriors, their predominant disposition is pacifistic. Embracing loneliness and solitude, these qualities serve as their sanctuary.

Finally, the Clan of [Terra], esteemed as the most robust among all clans due to their mastery over the Earth element, colloquially known as Rock. Comprising warriors who prioritize physical strength over technique or experience, they heavily depend on their sensory and elemental abilities.

The clans perpetually failed to establish common ground, their lack of genuine outreach preventing meaningful connections beyond clan boundaries. This neglect left the unpowered majority to fend for themselves, nurturing a profound resentment toward the clans within them.

Despite the hatred that they had accumulated, not all shared those beliefs with one of the many few being a man who went by the name of Raffles Smith.

Raffles assumed the semblance of either a prophet or a delusional figure, expounding on the teachings and promises of a newfound deity poised to bring salvation to the forsaken world. Despite numerous attempts to persuade others to join his cause, skepticism prevailed. The notion of an actual deity providing aid appeared preposterous, dissuading any from embracing Raffles's fervent convictions.

One fateful day, Raffles Smith's unwavering beliefs and prayers led him to a revelation—the manifestation of a "Holy Grace." Designating it as "The Unsullied Flame," he initiated preparations for his upcoming journey. Despite being labeled as eccentric and even idiotic by some, he fervently sought assistance for the arduous expedition, yet not one soul volunteered.

That was until a quartet had made themselves known to the challenge. Having grown bored and tired at the constant feeling of being restrained inside this flame-filled world.

Hailing from distinct clans, these four individuals were esteemed as the most formidable elemental warriors, collectively known as the "Heavenly Cycles." Raffles, initially taken aback by their readiness to support his cause, expressed gratitude, recognizing the futility of declining their assistance.

The four "Heavenly Cycles," accompanied by Raffles Smith and his followers, embarked on a quest to locate the "Unsullied Flame," united by the shared objective of liberating the world from the oppressive flames that ensnared it. Though the journey proved lengthy and demanding, their efforts bore fruit as the existence of such a flame was ultimately confirmed.

Amidst cheers and laughter, participants in the journey rejoiced, knowing they had not only rescued the world from apocalyptic turmoil but were also bound for a joyous reunion with their families. The celebration persisted while awaiting Raffles, entrusted with retrieving mankind's salvation, given his unique ability to touch the flame without succumbing. Unbeknownst to even the "Heavenly Cycles," the unforeseen events that lay ahead were beyond anticipation, fueled by the excitement that permeated the atmosphere.

Their eyes widen in horror as they observe their comrade, who shared meals, laughter, and accommodations with them, turning against the individual striving to alleviate the world's pain and suffering. Vulcan Kagutsuchi from the Fuego Clan would launch an attack on Raffles Smith, causing severe injuries that could have proven fatal if not for the timely intervention of the "Heavenly Cycles." The ensuing battle was arduous, yet the conclusive victor emerged unmistakably.

Balancing on one foot, Vulcan basked in the aftermath of the fierce battle – his other leg amputated, left hand in tatters, and the left side of his face severely slashed with an empty socket where his eye should be. Using his scythe for support, he stood amidst the unconscious bodies of his fellow "Comrades," each bearing heavy but non-lethal injuries from the intense confrontation.

Raffles was shaken to the core by the intense hatred in Vulcan's gaze as he shouted with a blend of pride and honor. His tone and words reflecting a deep conviction.

"I am the one known as Vulcan Kagutsuchi, the unwavering force of the people bound by the eternal flame of resilience! Our legacy is etched in the fabric of time, and though my journey may conclude, our spirit will endure in the hearts of those who bear our mark. We stand unyielding, and as my chapter closes, I declare with conviction, this is not the end but the prelude to our eternal blaze!"

The scorching final words echoed in the minds of all who heard them as shortly thereafter, Vulcan Kagutsuchi met his demise, succumbing to injuries inflicted by his comrades. The revelation shocked the world, eliciting widespread disdain towards those affiliated with Vulcan. Over the years, Vulcan's people surpassed even him in significance, their affinity with flames intensifying daily. Eventually, they unequivocally became the most powerful elemental force, garnering increased animosity from even Pyrokinetics outside the Fuego Clan.

Approximately 250 years ago, the Clan of Fuego vanished without a trace, becoming an enigmatic presence in the world's shadows following Vulcan's demise.

As global trust diminished, they found solace in isolation rather than being surrounded by distrust. Whether they would return remained uncertain, but one unequivocal truth emerged.

The Clan of Fuego was deemed untrustworthy by the world.
