16. "For good" Hoshi = Angst

"Are you sure, Hoshi?" You asked your boyfriend, Kwon Soonyoung or know popularly known as Hoshi from the rookie group Seventeen.

"Yes, I am. Don't worry, I'll do fine!" He showed you a grin that reassured you that he will be.

You'll be staying in the Philippines, your home country, for a while for a family vacation and you were worried about leaving your boyfriend.

"Alright, then. Let's talk to each other if you have a free time, arraseo?" You smiled in a relieved way and soon in satisfaction when he responded a positive answer.

"When will you leave?" He asked, intertwining your fingers together.

"Next month." A sigh escaped your lips and you leaned your head on his shoulder, closing your eyes as you felt a relaxing breeze blowing softly.

"How long will you be gone?" He lied down his head to yours as he asked.

"Probably a month or so..." You answered with a sad tone, a small, displeased frown visible on your lips.

"It's alright, Mayco! We can do this!" Hoshi faced you with his usual bright smile that slightly lightened you up. "As long as we love each other. Besides! It's not that long! And when you come back, we will celebrate my birthday!" You were fully cheered on by his cheerful persona.

"So... What do you wanna do for the last few weeks?" You stood on the ground and looked up at the bright and clear sky.

"Let's spend it together with the other members!" He suggested and stood beside you, holding hands, you two walked to the dorm.

You spent your days with the whole Seventeen gang, as if it was your last day here in Korea, you did everything with them. Despite their busy schedule, they managed to spend time with you.

"So... this is your last day here." Seungkwan said with a sad face, it became comtagious and spread to all of you.

"Yeah..." You said lowly, looking at the ground because you knew that if you saw their face, you'll burst into tears.

"I'll miss you, noona." Minghao wrapped his arms around you, you couldn't help but cry on his shoulder. One by one, they came up to hug you, last was Hoshi, your boyfriend.

"It's okay, you'll be back soon so there's nothing to worry about." He kissed your forehead and you two shared your probably last kiss.

"Mayco! It's time to go!" Your mother called from a far. You heaved a soft sigh and smiled at them.

"See you soon guys." Your shared a group hug with all of your eyes filled with tears before you walked off, away from their sight.

"Finally, I'm back~!" You were gone for almost half a year and boy you had fun but somehow sad. The first half of your vacation, you kept in touch with your boyfriend and the other members but as time passed, you weren't able to contact Hoshi anymore, not even once, but you were able to talk to the others for at least four times a week. You weren't suppose to stay for too long, but something happened, making you stay a little longer.

"Appa~ I'll just go visit my boyfriend and my friends!" You said loudly as you dragged your luggage filled with souvenirs for the whole Seventeen with you.

"Alright! Be back soon!" He loudly replied back. You didn't give any answers and just walked out of the house and went straight to the dorm.

When you arrived, there was no sight of any boys so you walked up to Hoshi's dorm to drop off the things and surprise for their arrival, but what you saw was unexpected.

"Oh my gosh..."

"Mayco?" It was your boyfriend, lied down with a blanket naked on his bed...

With a naked woman beside him...

"O-oh... S-sorry for waking you up." You said, trying to stop your tears from carelessly slipping off in the process.

"You've returned. I see you already saw my new girlfriend." He slowly sat up and covered the girl with a blanket. It was a simple word. New girlfriend. But boy did it leave a huge scar on your heart. "Meet Jimin, my new girlfriend."

"Why...?" You asked as calmly as you could, trying very hard not to burst in anger.

"What do you mean 'why'?" He stared at you with bitterness clearly seen in his eyes. "I've waited for too damn long, Mayco. What did you expect? I need to hold someone I love, you know?!" He started to yell, causing the girl to wake up.

"Baby... Who is she...?" The girl looked at you then at Hoshi.

"You could've waited! Do you know how long I've wanted to hug you, kiss you, and feel you with my touch?!" You yelled back, your tears already slipping off from your eyes.

"Hey! Don't talk to my boyfriend like that!" The girl Jimin scolded at you and sent you a glare, you glared back but you just shook your head.

"To think that you would wait for me..." You said in a hushed tone, wiping your tears off your cheeks and eyes.

"Well, things change." He said and kissed the girl, right in front of your eyes. "I found someone new who wouldn't leave my side."

"Tsk. And to think that I've wasted my family's money to save myself just for you." You coldly looked at him who looked dumbfounded.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Why do you care?" You spun around and left your luggage there.

"Answer me." He stopped you by grabbing a hold of your wrist, you didn't turn around to face him you kept a straight, yet teary eyed face.

"I got in a car accident, Soonyoung. When I was confined in the hospital, they found out I had the worst case of leukemia! I almost died, you know that?! But I survived, just for you, and all that greeted me as a congratulation gift is my boyfriend naked with another girl I didn't know!" You pulled your hand back to you harshly.

"I have a present there for all of you in the luggage, give them when the others arrive. We're over, Soonyoung." Those were your last sentences before you left the dorm, leaving the love of your life.
