The time when the past became the future [SNOWBARRY]

Part 11: Importance of time

Gwen went to bed that night feeling empty. She knew she had to tell Caitlin the truth but on the other hand she didn't know how Mirai would react. She didn't want to potentially break the bond her sister shared with Caitlin. She fell asleep, lost in thoughts.

The next morning Gwen woke up to Caitlin's alarm ringing. She decides to get out of bed and go to the kitchen with her mom. She walks out of the room and sees Caitlin walking downstairs.

"Good morning sweetheart." Caitlin says "Sorry if my alarm woke you up."

"Oh, no it's fine Aunt. I was going to get out of bed early anyways." She assures her.

"So, do you want some coffee?" Caitlin asks her.

"I don't know if I can..." She answers unsure.

"Gwen right now you are staying with me and I say that you should be able to drink coffee if you want to." Caitlin says.

"Sure aunt, I'll have one" Gwen says with that adorable smile of hers.

"One coffee coming for you Gwen" Caitlin says jokingly and goes to the kitchen.

Meanwhile on the waverider. (By the way in this story the team consists of Sara, Ray, Nate, Mick, Amaya, Zari and Wally and also I made Caitlin and Sara have a sister-like bond which might seem pointless for now but it will have an impact later on)

"Legends, gather up we have an aberration and it's a big one." Their leader, Sara Lance says.

"Where and when?" Nate asks her curious.

"Central City 2019" She answers smiling.

"God what did Barry screw up this time..." Wally says jokingly.

"Well, we'll never find out if we don't go there. Legends get ready, we're going back to 2019." Sara says amused she'll get the chance to visit her best friend, Caitlin.

The Legends set the course for Central City 2019 and arrived there shortly after. They didn't have to wear any costumes or anything as those were mostly their times. They decided to head straight for STAR Labs as it was most likely the source of the problem. While they are walking to their destination Wally suddenly breaks the silence.

"So, what's the plan captain? Do we sneak into the lab?" Wally asks

"Or maybe we..." Ray starts saying.

"Guys come on, both Barry and Caitlin are great friends of mine. We just walk in and ask them" She says

The team arrive at Star Labs and open the door. They start walking towards the Cortex but upon realizing it's empty they decide to check out the speed lab. They enter the hallway to see Barry standing outside looking at two flashes of light running around in the lab. He turns around and notices them.

"Oh hey guys!" He says upon noticing them but after noticing they are focused on the flashes of light adds "Don't ask I can't explain it."

"I certainly can." Says Caitlin after leaving the lab. "Hi Sara!" She adds and hugs her friend.

"Hi Caity!" Sara says as she hugs her back.

"Hello Legends. Hi Aunt Sara!" Says Gwen after speeding to them.

"Excuse me, who are you?" Ray asks.

"My name is Gwen. Gwen Allen." Gwen says.

"These speedsters just keep coming" Mick says.

"You're right!" Says Mirai speeding to them. "The name's Mirai Snow, it's nice to finally meet you."

"What has happened here?" Sara asks.
