Another day in school. Usually I'm hanging with Emma and Stacy.
They're talking about boys. Emma is into this super hot boy, the only problem is, they never met in person. They only talked on instagram.
And Stacy is dating Percy, I don't even know how long. I think they've been together since ever.
And I am single, last year I dated Chris, but he cheated on me. Many times.

"What about you Ari? Any boy in track?" Emma asked me.
"Not really," I replied.
I don't even think this was a good theme to chat about.
"Come on, you HAVE to like someone," she insisted.
"Yeah, your dad is pretty hot," I answered ironically.
"Eww, but he's single," she laughed.
To be honest, he was pretty hot. But way too old.
"But really, someone you really can date," she was impregnable.
"I don't know, right now no one."
She just shaked her head. Percy sat next to Stacy and kissed her on forehead.
"Hey Percy," I waved at him.
"Hi."

I have known Percy since kindergarten. But when he started dating Stacy, he began to be withdrawn. It was weird. We always talked all day and now the only thing we say to each other is Hi. Plus he's my neighbor, that makes it more awkward.

"We can go to the movies!" Stacy exclaimed with excitement.
"I heard something from Marvel is now out and good." Percy nodded.
"Okay, today at five? Everyone?" Stacy asked.
"Yea," everyone agreed.

So at five, we were standing in front of the movies and waiting for Percy, because he was running late.
"Why didn't he go with you?" Stacy paced nervously.
"I don't know, he didn't text me or anything." I shrugged.

He finally shows up. With someone.
"I'm sorry, I know we're late. This is James, he's new in town. I thought it would be nice if he came with us."
"Hi," the new guy James greeted.
"Hi," we all answered almost synchronized.
But something seems a little off about him. But i didn't care, I thought that maybe I'm just in bad mood.

So we were halfway through the movie, I was sitting between the new guy James and Emma. I started to feel water on my hand.
"Sorry," James said. I looked at my hand and saw that he poured coke on me. Great, I thought.
I get up and said nothing. I went to the bathroom and washed my hand.
Why Percy even bring this new James, I questioned. But only myself, because no one else was there.
When I was done, I went back.
"I'm really sorry," said James again, he was waiting in the hallway.
"Yea," I was so upset.
"Come on, it was an accident!" I was going back to the screening room.
"I don't care," I said so he can left me alone. But I did care.

"That was fun," Stacy was so happy.
"Yea, real fun," I said.
We were standing in front of the movies.
"What's gotten into you?"Emma poked me.
"She's mad because...," James started but didn't finish.
"Because?" Everyone was waiting.
"I'm not mad," I ended it.
