" Please! If you have the power to rewrite history then do it, goddamnit ! " Cassie Cage pleaded to Liu Kang, her voice ringing in the Demi-Gods ears. He kept his composure, his hands closed together behind his back.
He looked down at the ground before returning his gaze to Cassie, his beaming eyes piercing through hers.
" I'm sorry , it is not meant to be , Cassie Cage . " He was truly sorry he could not fulfill the young commander's wishes , he would do everything in his power if he was trusted enough by the elder Gods . This could cause havoc through Earthrealm ; a woman coming back from the dead ? People would begin to question . . .
" Please . Nothing feels right without her , I need my mother back . My father needs his wife . We're broken , Liu Kang . " She spoke with tear filled eyes, her voice breaking as she explained her and her father's grief . She knew this was a lot to ask , but then again , Cassie Cage wasn't one to ask for anything , and if she did it wasn't for much . She turned her back to the God in front of her , only to turn around for one last statement .
" I don't care what happens , you better bring her back . "
