Pac's pov:
It is near midnight already and I haven't been able to get a wink of sleep... after that "mandatory vacation" cucurucho made us take I've been reminded of ny time in prison with Mike and... him... I can't even close my eyes since all I see are flashes of memories, flashes of Jv's dead body on the floor, flashes of how I lost my leg... the thought of it all made my stomach turn. I sit up and grab the glass of water I had at my bed side and take a few small sips off it and then laid back in bed, this was going to be a long night...
3rd person pov:
The next morning Pac had managed to get a few minutes of sleep, however he was still unbelievably tired. He knew that he couldn't just sleep in since he promised Fit and Ramón that he would go hang out with them, and Pac didn't want to cancel on them all of the sudden, therefore he got up and hopped to the front of his closet, where his prosthetic leg was laying, and he put it on, after that Pac changed into his normal pants and the Pac-man hoodie he loved wearing, he quickly did his hair and then exited his room.
Mike's pov:
I was in the kitchen making some coffee for myself when I heard a door open, I look to the direction of the sound and I saw it was Pac, however I noticed he looked extremely tired and not as happy and excited as he usually was. "What's up with you? You look... diseased... to say it lightly..." I ask hoping that he'd say what the cause of his lack of sleep was. "Good morning Mike... I just didn't get the best sleep yesterday, don't worry about me though, I'm fine!" Pac replied with a small yawn in the middle of his sentence. I wasn't dumb, I couldn't tell that wasn't the whole truth, however I didn't want to push Pac to speak if he wasn't comfortable sharing. "Alright... there's fresh coffee on the counter, made it for you when I woke up." Pac's eyes lit up at the mention of coffee, it was one of his favorite drinks and it always reminded him of his "roommate" Fit, and his son Ramón of course. The three of them loved to go out for coffee whenever the morning crew wasn't doing anything. While still taking sips of my coffee I saw that Pac was getting ready to go out. "Going somewhere?" I asked as I saw him run over to the door with haste. "I promised Fit I'd come over today to hang out! And I'm kinda behind schedule already... I'll be back before night!" Pac immediately rushed out of chume labs and went on his way to see fit.
Fit's pov:
I was in the bakery which was located at spawn, I was with my beautiful baby boy, Ramón, and he was telling me some advice to talk to Pac without sounding weird and awkward. While I was excited to see Pac today I couldn't help but notice that it was 10 minutes past the time we agreed to meet. I look over at Ramón. "Where do you think he is..? He's usually not this late... what if something happened to him?" Ramón faced me and put down his usual white sign. "Calm down dad, I'm sure he just lost track of time or had to help Mike built a nuke or something along those line." Fit scratches the back of his bald head "I know, but... I still can't help but worry about him..." Ramón places down another sign "again there's no need to worry, futuro pai is strong! He can handle himself." Fit let out a small sigh "you're right ramón... I need to trust him more... wait... future dad..?!" A small light pink blush crept up on his cheek, before he could reply with anything he heard Pac's voice from a distance "Oiii Fit!" Fit quickly broke Ramón's signs and tried to look as normal as possible "Oiii Pac!" Pac ran up to fit and then stopped for a second to catch his breath, then he extended his hand and presented fit with a rose "it isn't much but I thought it would be a nice gift... I hope you like it, I'm sorry I'm a bit late, I... overslept a bit." Fit let out a small smile without realizing it and took the rose. "Thank you Pac, its really nice!" Pac looks up at Fit and gives him his usual smile "I glad you like it" Pac stands up straight and slightly blushes while looking to the side. "Where do you want to go, fit?" Fit stood there and thought for a second. "How about the movie theater and just hang out?" Pac nods "I'd like that..."
3rd person pov:
When watching the movie at the movie theater they were both eating, but not both of them were paying to the movie. While Fit had his attention on the movie Pac couldn't help but sneak a few glances at Fit, seeing him laugh, and be surprised and excited. It made him feel warm and fluffy inside, each smile and laugh Fit let out made the butterflies in Pac's stomach flap their wings faster. Every single thing Fit did Pac found adorable, like if Fit was the only light in a world full of darkness, or a blooming flower in a field full of decay. Even just being around Fit lifted his spirits. When the movie was coming to a close Pac put his hand on the arm rest, and moments later Fit put his hand on Pac's. Pac was a little shocked but liked the feeling of indescribable happiness that came over him when Fit touched his hand.
Fit's pov:
After the movie me and Pac went out for a small walk, we were picking flowers and just talking about anything that came to mind. Pac then noticed Bagi walking towards us "Oiii Bagi!" Pac yelled excitedly, he was always so cheerful about seeing his neighbors in quesadilla Island, it made fit smile to see just how friendly Pac was. Bagi walked to us and pulled out a small photograph. "I've been doing a few small investigations on the recent murder of the federation workers and I found this sign right next to one of the dead bodies... do you guys have any ideas what it could mean..?" Bagi handed me the photograph first, it was a sign with something written on it and a bit of blood on the edge of it, the writing was in Portuguese so I couldn't read it. "Sorry Bagi, but I honestly have no clue to what could it mean." She gave me a small nod and then I passed it on to Pac hoping he could find some hidden meaning behind the sign, Portuguese was his first language and he was also incredibly smart so hopefully he could find some meaning behind it. "Here you go Pac, can you figure out aby symbolism in the sign or something like that?" When I handed Pac the photograph he quickly read the sign and all of the sudden went as white as a ghost, Pac turned to Bagi and said something I couldn't quite understand. "foi o Cellbit quem escreveu isso.?!" (Was it Cellbit who wrote this.?!) Bagi looks at him and speaks again "sim, pelo menos acho que sim..." (yes, I think so atleast...) I look over at Pac and it seems like he had just died on the spot, then Pac spoke again "Não... não, não, não... isso não pode estar certo..! a menos que..." (no... no, no, no... this can't be right..! Unless...) I could see how panicked pac looked, I didn't know what happened but I wanted to help him, I turned to him and put my hand on his shoulder. "Pac..? Are you alright..?" However he didn't answer. Even Ramón was tugging at Pac's sleeve hoping to snap him out of whatever trance he was in. Then all of the sudden Pac seemed to woken up from whatever was going on in his head, he still looked mortified. "I-i'm fine Fit... I just... I just need some time alone..." then Pac swiftly left... I gave Bagi a quick look and she just said "I think you should go check up on him... he looked... well..." I quickly but in mid-sentence. "Horrified..? I know... I wonder what caused him to react like that..." I sigh and look at Ramón "sorry buddy, but I think it's for the best for you to go back home too... I'll go talk to Pac and then I'll be right back, alright buddy..? Ramón gave a quick nod "that's my boy..." Ramón teleported away, and now it was time to see what happened with Pac.
