In the start of the Undertale Multiverse lies only a few AUs. Many of these AUs are filled with life and happiness, peace and harmony. Not every AU was like this though. Wars and destruction plagued existed, but even then life still exists in large numbers. There was only one universe that had little to no life.
Hellscape, an universe that was filled with darkness and fire. The oceans were made of lava. Any plants only grew in one biome and weren't even sentient. Closed of from the rest of the multiverse since it's creation.
Yet despite this it's still the home and birthplace of a single life form, a red skeleton. He made himself clothes of the leaves of trees and did not need any food. He didn't know much but he still understood enough to survive. Eventually this would change and one day a portal would open, leading someone into this wasteland. This is where our story begins. The story of Hellscape, the story of Devil's Hour, the story of the Devil to the Undertale multiverse.
