The next two months London showed up sporadically. Leaving me dealing with humans that made me wish I could drink. School was normal. Wade would from time to time join the table of weirdo’s I have accumulated. Doing the nun jobs, as well as some funerals and weddings.
March came and I was given three new hires to train.
A transwoman named Edna. She was a slender woman, glasses with bushy eyebrows. She was in her late forties, standing five feet and seven inches. But wore heels. Talking with her was very much like shoving my hand willingly into a jar of salt water, razor blades and electricity. That was also full of poison that was set on fire. She would bite my head off about everything I said, did not say, or did or did not do. She would even yell at me, scoff at me or just stare death at me, even when I was helping anyone else.
There was Elora, she was a curly haired redhead college girl. She was five feet six inches. Studying the law. Lovely woman with a charming personality. She was more receptive to hear the ins and outs of things around. How to remember what shoes were where. She was very kind. She also got hit on a lot by many many people. Men, women and children. Which had me stepping in to rescue her.
And finally there was yet another Amanda in my life. She was a thirty something year old woman. Also a former lawyer. Slender woman. She had a quiet, respectful air about her. Her husband made her quit being a lawyer so she would be a housewife. But he was always gone for his work leaving her in an empty well kept apartment sometimes for a month or more. So she started working here to socialize.
One day in late March I came into work as some shouting was going on. I saw Elora being pulled in directions by two adult men. I walked right at her picking her up in my arms then sitting her on the counter with the registers. Before I could turn around I felt someone bump into me. It was store security.
He had just taken a Phillips screwdriver to the left side of his face. Barely missing his eye.
A female security came tackling the six foot eight inches of angry black woman (because I know if I did not give her credit for that she would know it's her and come to murder me) to the ground. The loss prevention woman was only five feet of nothing but she was strong.
The man held out his hand to me so I grabbed the box of tissues.
He pressed a handful of tissue against his face as he pulled the screwdriver out.
Elora tapped me on the shoulder as I kept my eyes on the petite security woman wrestling with the large woman. “Um, why are you still holding me in this position?” she asks.
I turned back to her to see her eyes looking down. I was pressed tight against her as her skirt was up and her legs around me “Well I only did part of this, why did you wrap your legs around me?” I asked her.
She shrugged as I backed up a bit helping her down off the counter.
So the cops came and arrested the woman for assault. The loss prevention man did not press charges as he and the store were negotiating behind the scenes to keep things underwraps.
Edna kicked me in the back of my foot as the cops were leaving.
“What did I do now?” I asked her.
“Bet you would not do that for me like you did…” she started to say as i picked her off her feet and put her on the counter, pressing against her.
“My first girlfriend was born with a penis. Her name is Erin, and I wish she never left. One of my friends is named Michelle, she is the same as you are. She also dressed me in drag and took me out to places. I called myself Heather. Amber in cosmetics seems to enjoy doing my makeup. For London I have worn a dress to make her smile. So whatever else you think I am doing to treat you any differently than anyone else here tell me so I can correct it." I said to Edna.
