Interrogation Room

Sae: Can you hear me?

In the room was nothing but a simple table, two chairs, one Sae Nijima, and one Ren Amamiya.

Ren:...

His head pounded in pain, causing him to lean over the table and grip his head. He grit his teeth, Sae looked at him with a somber expression. She glanced towards a syringe on the floor to her right.

Sae: Those bastards...look you've been through a lot, but anything can happen here, and I can't stop them. You need to answer me honestly, because we're both on limited time.

He found a middle ground in his own head, one where he could think without his head throwing him off. He stared at the table, and focused on his breathing and the words coming out of her mouth.

Sae: What was the objective, and the reason behind inciting an incident this major. This was never a prank to me, but I couldn't assemble a case to prosecute, simply because I could never figure out the method.

Ren felt a smile tug at his lips.

Ren: Of course you couldn't.

Sae's eyes narrowed at his tone, but she let it slide.

Sae: Of course, I could never believe of such a "world" existing simply through police report, nonetheless you seem coherent now. When and where did you find out about that world, and how is it possible to steal another persons heart?

She leaned forward and rested her chin on her hands.

Sae: Tell me everything, from the very beginning.

Ren gripped his head as began to recall it all. The whispers of a woman came to him as thought back, and he could see a blue butterfly fly past his memories. He remembered it very vividly, from the day he sat down on that train...

Ren: Where am I supposed to be going again?

Ren had just gotten off of the train to where he was going to be living thanks to a certain fragile politician. He was doing his best not to stress himself out, and had been taking careful steps to not get lost along the way, but now. He was ass up lost and incapable of finding where he was supposed to be. He stood in the middle of the train station surrounded by passing people who had probably lived here their entire lives, lost in the crowd.

His situation had already dawned on him long before he even stepped on the train to Tokyo. However, seeing everyone around him, made him remember just how unfair his situation truly was. Ostracized from home thanks to a corrupt politician, and now stuck in Tokyo, a place he'd never even thought of going to.

Regardless he steeled himself and checked his phone, reminding himself of the fact he was supposed to be heading to Yongen-Jaya through a path in Shibuya. He pocketed his phone and began to make his path. He walked up the steps and out into a large area brimming with people. He was lost in the sea of bodies, looking around to see where to go to get Yongen-Jaya, when everything just...stopped. Time stopped before his eyes, but he was still moving. For some odd reason he felt calm, at peace even. He looked around and looked to see if the cause of the disturbance was near. That was when he saw a blue light out of the corner of his eye. He looked to his left, and laid eyes on a wall of blue flame. He squinted to see it better and within the flames appeared to be a set of glowing eyes and a glowing smile. The eyes stared into his for a moment, before time started again. The people continuing on as if it never happened.
