" whoa jah where did that come from ?" they were backstage at one of the shows on jahseh's revenge tour. The tour had been a success and jahseh was getting closer and closer to stokeley. He believed they were more connected than ever before and was the only one that understood him.
Stokeley felt the same way to a great extent but he never swung that way.
" these bitches just don't make me feel what you make me feel" suddenly as jah was explaining himself members only came in the room interrupting the whole interaction.
" yo yall killed it out there" wifi said dapping jah up. Stokeley took this as his que to leave and process what his best friend just told him.
Later that night...
A knock outside of stokeley's room woke him from the nap he was having. They were staying at the marriott and would make their way to the next show tomorrow. To no surprise it was jahseh, stokeley froze up a bit instantly remembering what he had stated earlier but quickly relaxed.
" so did you think about it ?" jahseh followed him to the bed.
" be honest with me did the guys put you up to this ? like is this some type of dare and shit ?" jah looked at him shaking his head chuckling
" fuck no" he stood up attempting to get closer to stokeley but he awkwardly backed away not knowing how to respond " I want you and I'm being dead serious"
for a moment there was a staring contest between the two. Before stokeley broke the silence.
" jahseh you have been my day one and I also feel like no one knows you as well as you do but I don't think we're meant to be anything more than just friends"
jahseh reached in his pocket pulling out a diamond ring. It was small but shone expansively, with no hesitation jahseh grabbed stokeley's hand and placed the ring on his finger.
stokeley wasn't sure if he didn't stop him because he was in shock or if he was imagining the whole situation. Either way his best friend just proposed to him. He grabbed stokeley by his neck bringing him closer to his face and kissed his lips.
" I'll be waiting"
with that he left the room leaving stokeley speechless.
