Author's Note + Information

↠ Hello! Thank you for picking up this story and I hope you enjoy it, please leave a vote and/or comment if you do—I'd really appreciate it!

↠ I hope to update at least once weekly, sometimes maybe more depending on how much free time I have. 

↠ The title is based off the song by the same name by The Amazing Devil. The song fits perfectly with this story in my opinion so I thought it was an apt title—listen to the song, it's so good!

↠ It's The Witcher so obviously it will contain some topics that may be triggering to some of you, though I'll assume you've watched the TV series, read the books, or played the games so will at least be familiar with them. I won't be putting a trigger warning if the trigger itself was written in the show, but if there's anything original I write I'll put one at the start of the chapter.

↠ I'll be following the TV series! As much as I hate what they did regarding some things (maybe more than some) it's a lot easier to write about a show than it is to basically rewrite a book. I plan to switch over to the games either when the show finishes the main arc or when Netflix inevitably cancels it.

↠ This story does have romance, but it isn't the main focus nor is it all sunshine and rainbows immediately so you'll have to bear with me there.

↠ Tell me if I make any spelling or grammar mistakes please! I normally proofread like two-three times but I still miss things sometimes.

↠ I couldn't find who wrote the quote in the blurb but if anyone does please let me know so I can credit them properly.

↠ All work belongs to Andrzej Sapkowski, the creators of the games, and Netflix (and the writers) other than Thalia and her story in which they belong to me.
