The people of Evergreen were united but when their chief Emgray died it became an obstacle for most especially Hibbro's family. The famous sailor in the expeditions. There was a conflict between the Scordians in South Amdor, they kept the wall divided to prevent the Pettles from entering. The Pirate Sador, who used to be known as the kindest leader, when the territory was being settled there was bad blood between the two worlds. He became jealous and wicked, he was angry and resentful.

Maurice, Emily Darlings, and Miana were born in Evergreen and that became a curse on them. Their mother died in rebellion to restore peace in the palms of Evergreen consequently they were orphaned early. Fortunately, their Godmother, Betty, was there. Along with their cousin Emwest who is believed to have Scordian blood. That's the rumor all over Evergreen town. They play peacefully in the air.

Hibbro always told them that even the darkest heart has a piece of goodness that their father always reminded them of. Because they are Pettles they have the ability to fly through the air, talk to the sea and with a kiss can kill. Kiss that symbolizes death, whereupon they have to tame the savage Sador so they can defeat him. However they can't think of a way how to defeat the evil pirate.

In turn they cannot kiss their brother, friend or their family in any way because it could be their death. Only hugging symbolizes love and unity. One of the bravest guardians was Maurice who was the youngest to join the army that Emwest belonged to. The one that keeps the Pettles secure against the onslaught of the Scordian and the crater of Ompheus that guards the boundary of the Pettles. Every time it wakes up it causes an earthquake.

Their sister Miana who sees a vision. And the last of all Hibbro's children, Emily Darlings has a unique ability thus that possesses a kiss that does not kill. So when they are unhappy, with Emily's kiss, their complete sadness is relieved.

One night, Miana woke up to a kiss from her father. She sat up from lying down, faced and she talked to hIm

''Are you leaving again?'' She said long faced.

''Yeah, but I'll be back.'' He said showing her daughter a guarantee of his promise.

"How long?" Miana said wincing.

''Maybe months. But I'll be here when your birthday comes. Betty is here to look after you.'' He replied by tapping her head.

Miana wondered that her older brother Maurice was having a sword fight with Mandory in the air using the sharp sword given by his father.

''Aren't you done practicing yet?''

''We as guardians must continue to train to stop the Scordians in their tracks.''

''You think you can defeat them that easily?''

''Yes, because I'm Maurice I fear nothing,'' His chest thrust out.

Mandory was obliged to his friend to agree.

When they heard a loud growl they stopped what they were doing. That comes from the wall dividing from the Scordians and the Pettles. On this boundary is Ompheus. The ongoing practice was stopped because the guard of the Scordians woke up. This is a sign of a catastrophic. They were met by gusts of wind that no one could stop. Miana remembered Emily so she immediately went to see her.

The ground began to shake. She went immediately so that Miana could get her sister Emily to evacuate. And flew out of Hooma, the house where they were staying. But before that came, her foot got stuck in the fallen Terra, the iron that was between the Hooma's house. Swimmingly, Emwest saved Emily and took her and flew away.

The earthquake stopped instantaneously which was created from the crater of Ompheus with sharp teeth that could suck you and draw near was forbidden.
