Update: This story is no longer considered 100% Canon, I am planning on rewriting the entire story, but keeping this one up for archival purposes.

A retelling of the Solo campaign of Splatoon, Splatoon 2, Octo Expansion, Splatoon 3, and Side Ord...
"It appears that the signal may belong to a large metal object as I predicted." Marie said through the radio. "However, it appears that the signal coming from the main island of interest south of you two, that one there with a giant rocket, it completely covered in fuzzy ooze, but even though we've seen your little buddy there has an appetite for the ooze balls, even I don't think he could stomach it all. Those parts may actually aid us in gaining access to that location-"
"HOLD IT!" a voice shouted.
"Who is that?!" Callie asked in surprise.
Before the agents stood three mysterious people, each hiding their identities with masks. "So, you think you can easily just come into OUR territory and take what we rightfully took!?" One of the shouted.
"What are you talking about?" Marie asked.
"Hmph, seems we have'ta introduce ourselves." One said as she threw aside her mask. "Say it with a simmer, I'm Frye!"
"You think you're cool? Sharks call me cold blooded. But you can call me Shiver." The second said.
"Ay! (Make money! Get fish quick!) Ay! (Big Man in the house!)" The third said.
"Ah! I know you!" Agent 3.5 replied. "You three are Deep Cut, the hosts of the Anarchy Splatcast!"

"Oh~ A fan I see. But we aren't here to sign autographs." Shiver snickered.
"We're here to keep your thieving hands off our treasure." Frye added.
"Ay! (That's right!)" Big Man chimed in.
"I'm sorry but we're probably gonna need those metal scraps." Marie replied.
"Over our splatted bodies!!!" Frye yelled as the three members of Deep Cut rushed off.
"Looks like I can pick up their movements, they must have phones or radios on them. Seems they rushed off to areas of interest, those must be where the metal scraps are. The signals are still being thrown off by the metal capsules in the snow. But I'm sure you guys can handle cleanup duty."
Marie turned off the radio. "Cap'n, how come you're constantly watching them like that?"
"Like what?" Cap'n asked.
"Like..." Marie mimicked his posture by slouching over while staring intently and intriguingly at the radar.
"I do not look like that!" Cap'n yelled embarrassed.
"You kinda do! do you have the-" Callie started giggling and cut herself off.
"Do I have the what??" Cap'n asked.'
"Never mind." Callie replied as she continued giggling uncontrollably. Marie even snickered behind Cap'n 3's back.
