A great war had broken out between two sides, two factions, two races.

A side whom claimed the title of gods, believing their superiority over the other.

The other side in question simply extinguished evil spirits.

This is a war of which spanned over a thousand years, titled the "Thousand Year Blood War", between Shinigami and Quincy.

The conflict ending with an extinguishment of both side's "kings".

Now the relationship between both factions will come to a new era, triggered from their losses.

It is said that the same person had killed both kings, he was neither Shinigami nor Quincy, a rare few having learnt of said fact.

The Shinigami had a silent ruler, an encased man that stabilised their world.

The Soul King.

His death had been concealed, to suppress confusion aswell as disorder among them. So even now many believe their Soul King is enshrined safely within his palace.

Two Shinigami stood side by side, separated by the pathway of a large wooden door, their backs to the wall. The one placed on the right was stood with a tall posture, a confident demeanour, standing at 5'9, with his slim build concealed by the Shihakusho he wore. He had brown wavy, almost curly, hair, with his bangs falling over the length of his head, despite the rest of it being cut rather short.

The other one was silent, seeming much more quiet, standing around 5'11 with his slim figure more revealed by the tighter worn Shihakusho equipped. His hair was wavy and brown, holding a fluffy texture to it with his widespread smile.

The rhombus located on both of the backs of their uniforms displayed an Marigold flower, a representative insignia, the one of the 3rd Division.

Tetsuzaemon Iba was set aside from his heavy injuries, which was announced publicly, the Gotei 13 unable to find a replacement at the moment. But on the other hand, Rojuro Otoribashi and Izuru Kira of the 3rd Division. They were replaced by Browsy Kagawa along with Ozawa Kawajiri, known more commonly as Milk.

Browsy stood at 5'10, with silver hair, it was shoulder length, yet the back of it extended down his back, yet was concealed beneath the white haori, boasting the gotei 13's symbol, a rhombus. His eyes were a dark red colour, contrasting the spring green undertone of his long sleeved white Captain's haori.

His arms were draped to his side, walking down the hall, with the hilt of his blade peeking out from the haori. It had a hilt wrap coloured red, similarly to his eyes, with the concealed scabbard being a burgundy colour.

Ozawa walked with passion in his movements, his Shihakusho short sleeved, boasting his muscular build and wavy pink-brown tinted hair. His blade was held at his side, the hilt wrap being pink, the reason for his dyed hair. The tsuba was golden, diamond shaped, before the blade was concealed by the pink coloured scabbard.

"It's been a little traumatising, may I say." Browsy commented, his soft tone contrasting from the topic he spoke of, "I can agree, although I didn't fight anyone during the war." Ozawa whined, "Really? And you're here as a Lieutenant.." The Captain chuckled in response.

"I'm really the Captain of the 3rd Division now... It's a bit shocking. I wasn't really expecting to ever reach this point." Browsy explained, with Ozawa raising an eyebrow, "Do you know who's taken Captain role of the 7th?" Browsy then asked, glancing over, the two continuing to walk down the hall, a large door at the end of it.

"No, I don't think they have anyone yet." Ozawa replied, before the two slowed to a stop, both standing in the hall. "Why'd you choose me for Lieutenant, though?" Milk asked his Captain, with Browsy looking up at the door.

"I'm not really sure. It just felt right." He responded, not looking away from the large wooden frame. Ozawa approached, pushing it open with both hands, the wood creaking. There were two attentive Shinigami stood on the other end of it.

They felt Browsy's spiritual pressure almost immediately, both of them stammered, "Who is this guy that Milk is with? Is he the new Captain...?" The shorter one of the two looked on in awe, with the taller one tensing up at the sight of the two. "Lucas!" Ozawa greeted, wrapping his arm around the boy with the bangs. The other one standing there awkwardly, Browsy examining him with a quick glance from head to toe.

"Oblit! Is the Captain really making you shake like that?" Ozawa joked, a warm smile on his face, before embracing the other boy with his arm around his shoulder. Their stiff postures loosened up with Ozawa's warm touch, "I see you're Lieutenant now Milk-sama." Lucas responded to his greetings.

"Huh? You don't have to give me formal names and stuff now, we're still friends after all." He chuckled, with Browsy stepping forth, "Milk, real quick. Could you deal with these papers for me? I just need to go off to my meeting with the Captain Commander." He stated firmly, with Ozawa rolling his eyes.

He nodded as Browsy held out a stack of papers, a pleading look across his face. Ozawa nodded, taking them from his Captain, before he suddenly vanished, catching the three by surprise. They paused for a moment, before Lucas spoke up, "You look a little shocked at his speed, is the difference between Captain's and Lieutenants really that big?" He questioned.

"I... uh.." Ozawa stammered, before sighing, he turned over to the two, splitting the stack of paper. He glanced at them, before holding out one each, "Could you guys deal with this?" He asked politely, which was a real mistake. "Yes sir!" They both replied, taking a stack each, with Oblit holding his at his side, Lucas examining them upfront. Ozawa vanishing from their sight as they looked at the papers.

Each of the Divisions within the Gotei 13 had began reorganising after the war, including assets and members. They took heavy hits from the Soul King Protection Great War, which took place within the Seireitei. Leaving the barracks thrashed and ruined, many members transferring from their current Divisions to recover and get back on track at their own pace.

A promising Shinigami had transferred over to the 10th Division from the 12th, looking for a more suitable environment after his newfound abilities. Despite being one of the only combatants in his previous Division.

Beerus was perched upon his bed, burdened of sharing the room with a few others. One of them being Jaydo, a strict war torn Shinigami, surprisingly of a similar age. He was a leader of a group he called the "Red Tails", due to the commonly found trait of dark skin. They were characterised by the red bandana crossed over the kashira of their katana, their own Zanpakuto.

The group was approved by their Captain, Toshiro Hitsugaya, and because of that Jaydo wants Beerus to join their group. The two now frequently going on the same missions, their other roommates - Tekarano, Deixo, Keeko and Diablo all on a mission at the current moment in time.

Jaydo snatched Beerus up by the collar of his grey shirt, dragging him up to his feet, before he slumped back down onto the bed. He rubbed his eyes groggily with both hands, before a cold glass of water was splashed along his face, sinking through his closed fingers.

"I- I- I'm awake!" Beerus stuttered, snapping to attention, jumping up to his feet, with the water running down his face and to the collar of his shirt, slowly running down the fabric and drying up. His eyes fluttered, before stretching his arms, with Jaydo stood there shirtless, his hair drying as he fit his Shihakusho on.

"Get ready." He snapped at Beerus, before patting him on his back, the boy snatching up his Zanpakuto while Beerus walked through the living quarters, heading to the showers. His feet resting against the cold floor of the empty bathroom.

He flicked the shower on, with the cold water running down his nobody, drenching his hair. He shivered, yet stood directly beneath it, his right hand against the tiled wall, with memories replaying of the war.

Beerus was exhausted, clutching a wound on his stomach, his right hand holding his Zanpakuto tightly. At his feet was Kaque, the holder of the Schrift U, the Unbridled. Their fight ended in what he believed to his death, with the Quincy's onslaught resulting in the death of nearby Shinigami.

Their gory and torn apart corpses were strewn along the rubble and debris, the assisting Shinigami, Ra Ra, resting against a rock. She was more exhausted than he was, with the bodies of other assisting Shinigami left riddled around them.

Beerus held his blade tightly, the heavy tip dropping to the floor with a clang, but he held the hilt in his hand. He had just used his Bankai to it's maximum, with the majority of his Shihakusho and own flesh being burnt.

He reacted quickly, stepping to the side to dodge an arrow, with the blue spirit weapon firing past and piercing the resting Shinigami behind him. He glanced back with a panicked look, before the hanging Quincy cross was displayed in his face, a hand holding him in place.

He swung his blade, with the newfound opponent stepping to the side to dodge it, he had lengthy brown hair with a mischievous grin along his face. He had a third eye which opened vertically across his forehead, the intense glare of it locked onto Beerus.

It slowly slipped out from it's socket, floating in place, with the Shinigami attempting to fight. His previously sluggish movements were degraded to being stood entirely still, his stiffened body held in place by the Inertia.

The Quincy chuckled lightly, walking up to Beerus and examining him. He held a thin blade in his hand, which he plunged deep into his gut, the steel sword sinking through his burnt flesh, sizzling as it passed right through his body.

He couldn't even groan in pain, but he felt it all, the sensation of it being pushed deep into his guts. The Quincy walked away from him, leaving the blade, before a glowing blue one formed in his right hand, his spirit weapon.

He approached the downed Shinigami he had previously shot with his arrow, using his blade to cut her ear off with a clean slice. He held the blade close to her neck, dragging it back and swinging, the single chop being all that was needed.

Blood sprayed to Beerus' feet, before his mind went blank, that being all that he remembered until he was later rescued. Now snapping back to reality, stood in the shower room by himself, water soaking his hair and running down his lean body.

Despite that, there was something else that happened then, with Beerus being unable to remember it. The Quincy began to mutilate the nearby bodies of dead and injured Shinigami alike, Beerus' eyes having rolled into the back of his head.

He would've been slumped if it wasn't for the fact the eye held him perfectly in place, his muscles not moving even an inch. Until the blade dropped from his hand, clanging against the floor.

The Quincy jolted, glancing back over at Beerus, noticing the vacancy of his sword. He spun around to look for it, before blood began to run down from the empty socket on his forehead, dripping down to his chin.

He panicked and turned around, Beerus now missing, with the large eyeball stuttering, a deep cut displayed across it. It sputtered blood, flooding the floor beneath it with the crimson red liquid, the Quincy in growing pain.

A sinking slash was placed across his chest, with the man spinning around to swing his blade with his right arm, but the glowing blue item was on the floor infront of him. Still being held by his arm, blood dripping from the newly made wound.

A roar ripped through the air, followed by the squelching of the made wounds, blood running across the debris. The noises continued, before a cracking could be heard, shattered pieces of something dropping to the floor.

He approached Jaydo after the shower, with his Shihakusho worn along his drying body, with wet hair. He shivered again, with Jaydo glancing up as he was late. "We're on a mission with some others from different Divisions. Be ready." He warned Beerus.

The two left the barracks, rushing to meet their fellow companions on this new mission. Four other Shinigami were waiting to leave by a Garganta. "Is that an actual garnganta?" Beerus questioned, "I haven't seen one in a long while..." He commented, with Jaydo raising an eyebrow.

He remained silent, before the two met up with the others. Loop Tajiri, of the 1st Division. Raca Oguchi, of the 2nd Division. Ohkubo Amari, of the 11th Division. Exe Amuryo, of the 10th Division.

"So is this your first time heading to Hueco Mundo? You seem to have seen one before, but you look really nervous." Ohkubo asked, attempting to come off as intimidating. "Oh, no!" Beerus replied, "I've been before, alongside Captain Kurotsuchi." He responded firmly.

"During the war with the Arrancar? Where you there for the Arrancar invasion?" Ohkubo then questioned, attempting to pry into his experiences. Loop glanced over, recognising Beerus. Raca's lips parted, "What's the reason behind the mission?" He inquired.

"Ah right, you guys weren't informed..." Loop scoffed, his cocky demeanour being glanced at with a judging view, Jaydo kissing his teeth. "Captain Kyoraku assigned us specifically, not sure why, it's an odd choice for a group. But we're looking for a Quincy, who might be a Sternritter, which would need a Captain to deal with. But he's entrusted us with it." He explained.

"The Sternritter has killed many hollows and arrancars, which is causing an imbalance, and throwing them back into the cycle of reincarnation. It's just a bad thing overall, yet again, another Captain level assignment. But apparently they're all injured or busy..." He continued, before stepping closer to the garganta.

"Grimmjow and Nelliel aren't doing enough to deal with the Quincy's, but they might be wary of our presences, so we have to be wary. And another thing is Harribel. Tier Harribel was rather weak at the end of the war, due to being captured previously, the Queen of Hueco Mundo has been unable to build up her power and has been captured by this Quincy." He finished.

"So it's our job to save an Arrancar?" Exe questioned, "It's more about getting rid of the Quincy." Loop replied, before stepping into the portal, being thrown through by a sudden force. Jaydo rushed in after him, with Exe and Ohkubo awkwardly stepping through at the same time, leaving the final two behind.

Raca glanced over, "You were in the war right?" He asked, with Beerus looking a bit nervous. "What was your role?" Raca inquired further, "Uh.. I was in the war.. I supported Captain Kurotsuchi for some time, before being dragged off. I fought this once Quincy with the Schrift U, and then faced this other dude... but I can't remember what happened after that..." He stammered, sounding almost sorrowful at the end.

"I'm honestly surprised, Mr Kurosaki had told me about my potential. So despite that sad memories of the war, I'm a bit excited for the future-!" He stopped suddenly, glancing over at the now unstable Garganta. He tackled Raca, the two falling through, freefalling from the sky.

He flailed around, attempting to find the correct position to glide down. With Raca having his arms widespread, aiming to land on his feet, the two looking down at a decently large mountain of sand.

The two crashed down into the soft white sand below, with Beerus getting up first, brushing it off from his Shihakusho. Raca frantically coughing, some of the sand having gotten in his mouth. The two were stood there, in the vast expanse that is Hueco Mundo.

Beerus glanced up at the dull black sky, its sleek pitch black colouring being considerably eerie. The clouds that were forming being rather comforting to contrast the bleak surroundings. "Stop looking up like that, you look like an infatuated child." Raca joked, tugging on Beerus' Shihakusho.

Raca then distanced himself, walking away while looking around. Beerus following, sliding down the short hill and getting onto equal footing with him, the two walked around aimlessly, with Beerus' eyes searching the area.

He paused, before spotting something, Raca noticing it too. The two glanced at one another, before looking back over at this mysterious structure, the two running over, approaching it. Beerus made it out to be an abandoned building of some type, with rubble scattered around them.

Beerus walked closer, before Raca reached out, stopping him from moving closer. In an instant, a hollow leaped out from behind a pillar. Beerus and Raca reacted, with the hollow having an oddly slim look to it, the two hesitating for a moment, before it wrapped it's arms around the former, knocking him to the floor.

Beerus was a bit panicked, but his arm was blocked from unsheathing his blade. Raca had already taken his out, with it pointed at the curse, which was seemingly... weeping? "Oh my saviour is here!" The hollow cried out.

"Saviour?" Beerus asked, sitting up with the hollow moving away from him. "A Shinigami-?!" It panicked, with Beerus raising an eyebrow. "I thought you were a Hollow that was here to save me from the bad Quincy's!" It yelped, with Beerus looking over at Raca in confusion, his companion shrugging his shoulders.

Exe and Ohkubo landed on the top of a very large sand hill, it's massive build being curved, with the two looking over the edge of it. Ohkubo stood closer to the edge, before slipping, he panicked and spun around, instinctively latching onto Exe's leg.

He fell down, sliding down the hill, hitting a sudden rock and bouncing up, with Exe sliding down with his arms widespread. He yelled out in panic, his tearful voice muffling Ohkubo's calls for help, with his head sinking into the sand while sliding down.

He hit the bottom with a soft thud, slowly getting up as he shook his head, Exe crashing right into him. The two were knocked across the sand built up at the bottom, with Ohkubo sat there, everything below the waist consumed by the sand, his right hand gently placed against his side.

Exe stood up, brushing the white sand off from his black clothing. "What a harsh fall." He scoffed, with Ohkubo rolling his eyes. "You crashed right into me you bastard!" He complained, with there being sand all within his hair, grains of it sliding down.

Some was caught in his mouth, the boy gasping and attempting to spit it out, rubbing his tongue profusely while buried. Exe stood in confusion, a dull look on his face, "Anyways! We need to continue with our mission. As the First Division guy briefed us." Exe exclaimed, with Ohkubo raising an eyebrow.

"You mean Loop?" He inquired, with Exe nodding, despite being unsure. "And you are?" He then asked, "My name is Exe Amuryo, of the 10th Division." He proudly boasted, with Ohkubo falling silent. "And your name?" Exe then requested, with Ohkubo waving him off.

The two began to walk. "The hill is looking rather erect. A bit unusual.." Ohkubo stated, glancing up at it's large frame, "Pause." Exe commented, the two then looking it up and down, with their ankles sinking into the deep sand. "It's pretty odd.." Ohkubo continued, now knee deep into the sand.

The unchanging night made the predicament all the more creepier, with the overcast moon illuminating the vast endless white desert. "The hill looks as if it's moving. What's up with that?" Exe asked, looking over to his companion, who shrugged his shoulders. "It's not like any of the other rocky formations in the distance. Should we like... research it?" Exe added.

Ohkubo silently shook his head, "I'm a bit... It's just making me uncomfortable." He claimed, "Let's get out of here." He pleaded, turning around and beginning to walk, sand suddenly running down the hill like a waterfall. A sudden sharp object poking out from the top of the hill, it's pale white tone matching the sand around it.

The falling sand pushed them out, with the formation moving, four more of the same object shooting out from it. The shifting grounds crushing the few dead trees near to them, dragging Exe and Ohkubo with where it went. "What the fuck?!" Ohkubo yelled, with Exe attempting to swim to the top of the sand, being consumed by it.

Ohkubo had a neat poker face, which calmed Exe slightly, the boy having a panicked and scared expression. Someone suddenly lifted Exe, dragging him out from the sand by the back of the collar, with it being Loop. "Careful." He warned him, moving back with Exe in hand.

He dropped the boy a fair distance away, with Ohkubo fleeing the falling sand, rushing over to them, occasionally falling over. He got to Loop's side, the three of them looking up at it. "What is that...?" Loop questioned, "It's not a Menos Grande, right?" Exe turned to Loop to confirm.

He shook his head, with the looming overcast shadow engulfing them, Loop stood calmly, his hand slowly moving to his hilt. He was a bit eager to examine the beast, with Ohkubo grimacing, a deep breath escaping his lips, a droplet of sweat running down his forehead. Exe backed up, with Ohkubo turning to flee, Loop stood rather still.

He looked up at what seemed to be an arm, a soft yet overall deep groan came from the thing. There was not a mouth along it's sleek build, yet the noise rang through his ears, pain shivering beneath his skin. He brushed it off, continuing to look up at it, the fingers on it were sharp, almost like claws instead.

The unrecognisable organism, shifted with sudden movements, slamming down towards them, Loop using shunpo to back out from it's range. The crash from the arm shot up a sandstorm, Loop's Shihakusho flailing in the formed wind.

Ohkubo shielded his face, with the crash knocking Exe into the air, the two being blown back slightly. They were unprepared, neither of them reaching the unsheath their blades. Loop stared on as the beast began to whine, the arm bending, it's hand directed towards the Shinigami.

It's hand opened, revealing it's palm, with a red orb formulating at the centre of it, black markings being showcased across it's hand. Loop brought out his sword, with it firing off a beam, a cero, aimed perfectly at Loop. He glanced back at his fellow Shinigami, sighing and slicing downwards.

His blade released a slash, with it splitting the beam in half, flashes of read being deflected far off into the vast desert of Hueco Mundo. He dashed ahead, slashing the large arm with his Zanpakuto, the blade sinking deep into's flesh, splashing blood out from the wound.

Loop flash stepped back, his feet placed on the air. He gave it a confused look, watching the black blood spill from the wound, now noticing the more animalistic shape of the arm. It suddenly swung itself at Loop, crashing into him and knocking him flying.

He blocked the attack, but was hit away nonetheless, he braced himself and crashed down into the white sand. He stood up from it, spinning his blade, before slashing the ground. "I recognise that beast. Could it be..."
