Chapter 4 the bullies

The rain stopped, and the moon was falling into place, "I should get going." Meowed cinderpelt. Scourge meowed in agreement, and they said their goodbyes and cinderpelt returned to camp promising to meet tomorrow. Morning rose, and scourge was stalking a squirrel. His claws digged into the ground and slowly creeped to the squirrel. He was about to pounce, but the squirrel ran away, Scourge's tail furiously lashed back and forth as if it seemed he hadn't eaten in moons, but he stopped and wondered what spooked it. He walked back to snakerocks, hoping cinderpelt would bring a vole or something else to eat. He stopped and sniffed the air. Something was off. He smelled rouges, but a hint of kittypet, too. He dropped into crouch position and creeped toward the smell. Just then, a black and white cat lunged at him! Scourge dodged the cat and slashed his forehead! The black and white cat wailed, calling a gray cat over but stopped at what she saw. "Tiny, I mean, scourge." The cat muttered "socks, ruby." Scourge growled. In anger, Ruby lunged at scourge delivering at hit to the chest. "You pieces of fox dung! You shouldn't have challenged me or bullied me." Hissed scourge! "Well, maybe we would give you a chance if you weren't such a Runt or helped us when we became rouges!" Ruby spat. Scourge dodged every attack and bit Ruby in the shoulder and wouldn't let go until socks jumped on his back and sank his sharp teeth into Scourge's neck, opening up a previous wound. Scourge some how managed to throw socks off his back and grabbed his fury ear, and with one turn of Scourge's head, he tour socks right ear, completely off! Scourge spat out socks ear and watched socks wail about his ear. Slowly, scourge turned around, going to find cinderpelt about his wounds. But out of nowhere, Ruby jumped on scourge, pining him on the ground! Scourge struggled to get out, but Ruby would not let him go. Scourge suddenly stopped shocked at what he saw... It was cinderpelt! Cinderpelt dropped her bundle of herbs and rabbit. "Scourge," she managed to mutter out. "Cinderpelt run!!!" Hissed Scourge. Ruby glanced at her brother and flicked her tail to the duration to cinderpelt as if telling him to kill her. Scourge tried and tried to get free and help cinderpelt, but Ruby was too strong, and with every step socks took, he got closer and closer to the poor medicine cat who slowly backed into the cliff wall. "Cinderpelt!" Wailed Scourge as socks got even closer, and with his ripped off ear still bleeding down his head, he slowly lifted his unsheathed claws up in the air! Suddenly, scourge felt a surge of anger running through his body he broke out of Ruby's grasp and ran right to socks right before he was about clawed cinderpelt! He jumped on socks back and sank his sharp claws into his shoulders and hissed to cinderpelt, "Run!" Without a question, cinderpelt ran slowly due to her leg, but scourge had socks dealt with scourge fell of socks back and socks ran with ruby hissing."We'll be back, and then you'll be really sorry!" Scourge fell to the ground in relief. He thought about cinderpelt for a while but knew she was now safe.
