Your POV

The end of our first year of high school is fast approaching, and after Spring break, both Mitsuka and I are going to be second-year students. This would mean that she and I are going to be more busy now, but I know we'll hangout whenever we can.

A lot of things have been changing for us lately, especially since that Ave Mujica contest came to an end. A lot of people in our class kept asking me and/or Mitsuka to spill the beans on Ave Mujica's identity. But as we promised them, we said we couldn't do that. Some understood, while other people kept on asking.

"This is starting to get annoying." I said to Mitsuka the next time I saw her in the hallway.

"Tell me about it." Mitsuka groaned. "All of the girls in my class kept asking me about Ave Mujica, and not about finals."

"Yeah, the folks in my class were the same way." I said.

Mitsuka sighed.

"Who knew hiding a secret would be this hard..." She said.

"Yeah, but we worked hard to learn who they were." I said.

"Yeah, you're right."

She looked up at me with a smile on my face.

"At least I'll be able to spend some time with you now that class is done for the day."

"Yeah, that's-"

I was interrupted by the sound of my phone. I looked at it, and saw that it was a text message from Umiri.

Umiri's text: Can you come see me at the record shop? I need your opinion on something.

She and I exchanged numbers after the contest, and every chance we get, we would text each other about everything music-related. I guess you can say that our bond is slowly forming.

"I should probably get going." I said as Mitsuka's face starts to fall.

"Really? But what about studying for our finals?" She asked.

"I'll make sure to study when I get home, I promise." I said as I start to make my way out of the building.

Location - Record Shop

I rushed over to the record shop from my school, and by the time I got there, I was starting to get tired already. I swear, I am so out-of-shape, and I should probably workout more often.

I walked inside, and I saw Umiri by the entrance.

"Hey, thanks for showing up." She said.

"N-No worries." I replied, still trying to catch my breath.

"Did you run all the way here?" She asked.

"Yeah, I did.."

After catching my breath, Umiri let out a little cute giggle.

"Talk about being out-of-shape."

"Oh, haha, very funny."

Once I got my energy back, I looked towards Umiri.

"So, what did you need me for?" I asked.

"I need your help in buying some CDs. Can you show what's good and what isn't?" She asked.

"Sure thing. Where do you want to start?" I asked as well.

"I think the rock genre is a good place to start." Umiri said and she guides to where they are. Something tells me that I am going to be here for a while.

Location - The Library

Mitsuka's POV

Ever since school got out for the day, I've been studying here at the library... alone... without (Y/N)...

This has been a repeated pattern everyday ever since we won the Ave Mujica contest. (Y/N) would leave me to go hangout with Umiri. I should be happy for him, but to be honest, I'm not. It's like he has forgotten about me although, and it hurts.

"I guess I better get going."

I got up and gathered my stuff. As I head towards the door, I bumped into someone and my stuff fell to the ground.

"Eek! S-Sorry!" I said and I quickly start to pick up my things.

"Don't worry about it." The person said, and helped me out. That was kind of them to do, I guess.

I got a good look at the being, and it turns out to be a guy who is my age.
