I Did It For You

Having had enough of everything, Ferit Korhan picked his own wife up in his arms.

"Ferit, bırak!" Seyran exclaimed

"Whoever has the courage, come and finish me!" Ferit shouted at everyone

"Ferit, put my daughter down!" Kazım yelled at Ferit

Ferit did not listen to him. He just turned around and headed to the entrance of the house, carrying Seyran in his arms. He was carrying her up the stairs to their room, when she said "Ferit, put me down!"

"Hayır, karıcım!" he replied "We are going into our room and I will take you there the way that you deserve."

After some more minutes Seyran and Ferit already were in their room. Entering, Ferit closed the door behind himself and then, finally, put Seyran down on her feet.

"Why did you bring me here?" Seyran asked him

"Seyran, what is all this nonsense?" Ferit asked her "What is happening?"

"What nonsense?" Seyran asked

"Do not act like you do not know what I am talking about, Seyran!" he replied "What engagement is your father talking about? What marriage?"

"It is true, Ferit." she answered "Akın and I got engaged."

Ferit laughed at the nonsense that Seyran told him.

"Ah, Seyran, ya..." he said through another giggle "Are you even hearing yourself? Are you hearing what you are saying?"

"Getting engaged to someone else, while you are still considered my wife!?" he exclaimed "What is this nonsense?"

"I do not know either..." Seyran asked "You need to ask my father or Ökkeş Ağa about this..."

"Your father! Of course!" Ferit exclaimed "Of course he is behind all of this. I am wondering why I am not surprised even a little bit."

"Hurrying into marrying you off to someone else, before you even divorce..." he added "I wonder how much money did he sell you for this time."

"Should I tell you the price of all this, Ferit?!" Seyran exclaimed "Should I tell you why I agreed to all this?!"

"Come on, tell me. I am listening." Ferit answered "I am really curious about why is my wife, who is still legally married to me, got engaged to another man?!"

"I am doing all of this for your sake. For the sake of your father." Seyran said "I am going through this, so that you would not lose your father the way you lost your brother. So that he would be free out of jail."

"And, if you think that I am liking all of this, I am not." she added "But I had to do it for your father. Because I love you and I do not want you to suffer."

"What?!" Ferit exclaimed, shocked

"You heard right, Ferit." Seyran replied "I am sacrificing my own happiness for your happiness..."

"When you messaged me that your father was out of jail, the engagement was happening." she added "I had to proceed with it and do it, so that something worse than this would not happen."

And then Seyran opened her phone and showed Ferit the photo of Orhan lying onto the ground in jail, beaten up. Ferit looked at it and fear appeared in his eyes. Shocked from what Seyran showed him, he asked her with a trembling voice "W-Who sent you t-this, S-Seyran?"
