Chapter 2: A Dragonrider

You still hold his hand as you venture deeper into the pit, and the halls around you get darker and darker. Suddenly you fell a breese of air as you enter a larger portion of the pit and hear deep breathing.. Those Deep breaths are accompanied by a Deep, guttural Growl, sounding like straight from the pits of hell.. "by the gods.." he mumbles as he stops Walking and just stares at the giant creature slowly expanding its limbs. The bronze fury build itself up like a mountain, as it sniffed out an unknown presence in the room..

A smile flashes over your lips as you walk Closer to him and he Lifts his head up in the air and roars. As he opens his mouth, Flames emerge from his throat and light up the cave, hitting the ceiling. Aemond falls on his back, scared of the large Dragon, but you Keep Walking, until you reach Vermithor. His bronze scales shimmer in the dimm light of the dying fire as he bends down his head towards you. You extend your Hand and slide it across his scaly nose as he soflty Growls again. "Ziry iksos nykea raqiros, Vermithor.." (hes a friend, Vermithor) you softly say to him and he Looks at Aemond understanding. He is Standing up and still Looks terrified, as you decide to start climbing up Vermithors back.

He still has his saddle on, as you've just ridden him a few Hours ago during night time, unbeknownst to anyone. You grab onto one of his Spikes on his Right wing and climb up his Body until you reach his saddle and you pull yourself up and sit down. Aemond watches in awe and Looks at your Extended Hand that Points in his direction, and takes this as his turn to mount the Dragon. He slowly makes his way over to Vermithor, as he snarles at him, which makes him feel a bit uneasy. "Mazigon va! Gurogon issa ondos!" (Come on! take my Hand) you say, and he musters up the Courage to climb up Vermithor and grab your Hand. As he sits down behind you, he panics and grabs onto the sides of the saddle and onto your shoulders.

"Jikagon!" you say to Vermithor and he fully stands up and starts making his way out the pit. Aemond holds on for dear life, as you Sway side to side on his back and get Closer to the entrence of the pit. "Hey! what do you think youre doing!?" one of the guards yells as you close in on the entrence. Vermithor senses your fear and roars at the guards in your way and picks up Speed. They get knocked down and Aemonds gets more agitated but you just laugh in excitement! The sun hits your faces as you Exit the cave and the warmth embraces you. "Sovegon Vermithor!" you yell and he takes up roughly.

As he gains hight and speed, Aemonds screams fade into the Background and your screams of excitement take over. The Clouds get Closer to you and you close your eyes as you pass through them, Feeling the Cold breeze on your face. When you open your eyes again, you see the bright afternoon sun Shining on you, with the breathtaking Clouds beneath you. You turn to look at Aemond and see his smiling face discovering your suroundings. "This is the best Thing ever!!" he yells as he extends his Hand to glide through the Clouds. You two are smiling and laughing as you sail throught the sky, till the sun goes down.

As Vermithor dives down from the sky and lands on the Ground, infront of the Pits entrance, two Knights of the kings guard run towards us as we climb off of him. "You are awaited by your mother. And you are coming with us now." they say as you and Aemond look at each other slightly scared.
