Legacies: The Mikaelson twins

Chapter 7

After Hope and Alec nearly got drunk on wine and blood with their Uncles and Aunties they went upstairs and went to their separate rooms they had when they were still living there with their parents. Hope and Alec needed to be at their full powers tomorrow. Most of the new recruits weren't violent, but you can never know. Also, Alaric took his crossbow and some wolfsbane with him, so Hope assumed the new wolf wouldn't be an easy one. But Hope could easily take him down, but she has her brother so it would be even easier.

Alec went to sleep wondering why their Aunt Freya needed their blood. She's a Mikaelson as well, so if she needed to track down her other siblings just in case the older witch wouldn't need their blood.

The twins finally got to sleep and got up at 7 so they could shower and pack before Alaric got up. When the twins got downstairs Alaric was already waiting for them. Hope, and Alec said goodbye to their family then left. Hope sat at the back this time while Alec sat at the front. The three of them had been driving for about an hour and a half, when Alaric finally stopped the car.

"He should be somewhere near, I don't know the exact location, Bonnie could only give me the city and the quarter, so I guess we'll have to keep an eye open." Alaric said

"You do know that Freya could have performed a locator spell as well, right? She could have given us the exact location. She's stronger than Bonnie, even me and Alec are stronger than Bonnie. She gets nose bleeds after doing black magic, but we don't, because we are strong enough."

"One Freya is probably stronger than Bonnie, but I don't trust your family. I trust Bonnie. No offensee" he added, after seeing that me and Alec were getting annoyed.

"None taken." Hope said annoyed.

They had been walking around the quarter for almost two hours, when Hope and Alec finally got bored.

"For God's sake, how long do we have to keep looking? Maybe he doesn't even want to come with us? Are you going to force him or what?" Alec asked

"Of course not, I'm just going to convince him with words, just like a polite man would do." Alaric replied.

"And why do you have your crossbow with you then?" Hope asked

"Just to be safe."

"Me and Hope are Tribrid's for God's sake. We are enough protection. Or don't you trust us?" Alec was interrupted by Hope, who placed a hand over his mouth.

"I think he's here. Like, not here, but I'm pretty sure he's in front of us," Hope said using her vampire hearing.

Alaric and Alec nodded, before, stepping out of the shadows.

"Don't move, or else I'm going to have to hurt you!" Hope said loudly, with a certain determination in her voice.

The boy chuckled "Yeah, well good luck with that". He scoffed before attempting to attack Alaric. It was a mistake underestimating Hope's words, because she pulled him back with a flick of her hand.

"Uh,uh, we're not going to attack anyone, got it?" she asked.

"Why should I listen to you?" the boy growled.

"Well, you don't have to, but if you don't, you'll be facing alot of pain". Hope responded

"Hope" Alaric started talking, but hope cut him off.

"Don't Hope me. Sometimes we can deal with them your way, but this one requires things to go me and Alec's way" Hope said.

"Them?" the guy asked, but the three didnt care to explain.

"So, are you going to listen or are we gonna have to do things our way? I'm warning you, it can get a little bit messy" Hope then asked the boy.

"I'm not scared of a girl or her brother. I'm guessing you're twins, and an old man. I'm stronger than you think."

"Well, first of all that wasn't very nice", Alaric said

"Second, we know you're a werewolf, though that doesn't change my mind. Believe me, my twin and I can take you on even at 3 a.m. We are very powerful witches." the girl scoffed, she didn't say they were tribrids because she didn't want him to know who their family was at least not yet.

The boy was surprised, but didn't let it show. "Fine, what do you want from me?"

"I'm the headmaster of a school for the supernatural in Virginia, and this is Hope, and Alec. We know you're a newly turned wolf, and we invite all newly turned wolves to our school. You'll be safe there and learn to control your abilities, learn about the history of the supernatural and of course we also have normal subjects like maths."

"And why should I go with you? How do I know you're telling the truth? How can I know that you're not just here to kill me?. the boy asked.

"Oh boy, I'm gonna go to a cafe. Call me when you've convinced him or not. I'm not going to listen to him asking questions I hear almost every second day, Alec, are you coming?"

"Yeah, I'm right behind you.' Alec said, not bothered to stay and watch Ric convince the wolf to come with them.

"Oh, and you, I wouldn't recommend you doing anything stupid, such as harming him, because if you do, I'll find you and your life will end very soon." Alec said before following Hope.

Alec followed Hope and saw her on her phone getting directions, leading them to a big cafe, full of people. They ordered a milkshake while listening to the live music playing in the back corner.

"Does this cafe remind you of Rousseau's a little bit. When Mom, or Aunt Freya took us, we were like 14 people dancing, singing, drinking and having fun?" Hope asked

"Yeah it does a bit. I wonder if our life could be like this, if we never went to The Salvatore school, and mum, Dad and Uncle Elijah were still alive, and people didn't try to kill us since we were born." Alec said to Hope.

"Yeah that would have been a great life but I'm still grateful for having you."

"Yeah same". Alec said, hugging his sister.
