Legacies: The Mikaelson twins

Chapter 9

This made all the students in the library gasp, as they knew Hope and Alec's family story and how their parents had died. Even Lizzie was worried about what the twins would do.

After he said that, Hope noticed Alec was furious and was about to vamp speed him to the wall, but before Alec could react Hope yelled.

"Shut up!", Hope screamed.

She screamed so loud that probably the whole school had heard her. And no one expected her to ever scream, Hope and Alec Mikaelson have always been quiet.

"Did I hit a nerve?" The boy chuckled and tried to act cool and not show his uncertainty.

"Don't you dare talk about our father when you know nothing about him" the girl screamed with a British accent, throwing him at a wall with a flick of her hand.

"Liam, I suggest that you stop right now. You don't know anything about them or their father. Also, she's angry, like really angry. In this state, she could kill you", Penelope tried to warn him.

"Am I supposed to be scared of a witch with a British accent?. he asked, showing his yellow eyes.

"Liam, stop right now I'm warning you." Alec said in his British accent warning him that he's just as angry as his sister.

Hope vamped speed to Liam and grabbed him by the throat.

"No brother, it's fine. And Liam I wouldn't be afraid of a witch either, but if I were you, I'd be afraid of Klaus Mikaelson's children. Alec and I are tribrids and werewolf Alpha's to the strongest pack in the country, maybe the world. Maybe you've heard of them, the Crescent Wolf Pack. Hope said angrily, her tribrid face showing.

"In case you haven't heard of our family, they are the Original family, cold blooded killers. Well that's how everyone describes them to us, they are our family. We are the daughter and son of the most dangerous one, the original Hybrid. Our mother was a hybrid as well; she was the Alpha of the Crescent Wolves until she was killed." Hope added before turning into a wolf and attacking Liam.

"What the hell!" he screamed, not understanding why she could turn whenever she liked.

Alaric came running into the room at that moment.

"Hope!", he yelled, obviously very angry.

"Shift back right now". Hope didn't listen, she just got angrier.

"Damn it Ric, do you think she will listen to you?" Alec said

He vamp sped in front of his sister blocking her view of everyone, especially Liam, and looked her in the eyes.

"Hope it's okay. Listen to the sound of my voice and control your breathing. I'm here, I won't let anyone hurt you." Alec whispered to his sister quietly knowing she was out of control.

She calmed down a bit at the sound of her brother's voice, but then Alaric fired an arrow at her with a crossbow causing her to growl loudly and become more out of control. However, Alec caught the arrow before it could hit her.

"Are you kidding me? How dare you try to hurt my sister." Alec growled, nearly shifting into a wolf just like his sister. He vamped to Alaric and grabbed him by the throat, lifting him off the ground and allowing his fangs to come out as he snarled at Alaric.

"DAD!" Liz said, scared for her dad's safety.

Alec turned around, still holding Ric, and snarled at Liz when she tried to move to help her dad, which frightened her and stopped her from moving.

" She was going out of control; she had to be stopped." Ric answered with a raspy voice after Alec let go of his tight grip around his throat.

"I had it under control!" Alec yelled, his tribrid eyes still showing.

Alec turned back to his sister's wolf form who was carefully watching Ric's every move.

"Hope, shift back now," Alec said quietly to calm her down.

Before Hope shifted back to normal he took his jacket off and put it over his sister so she wouldn't be naked in front of everyone.

"Hope, why did you do this? This isn't you, it's your fath." he started, but before he could finish Alec started to growl deeply.

"Don't ever, ever say that it isn't us because it is. We are the son and daughter of Klaus Mikaelson. Accept it or leave it. We are both sick and tired of listening to you, while you say shit about our family. Hell our dad and uncle died just to save us, so SHUT UP FOR GOD'S SAKE." Alec yelled.

Right after that, Hope broke down in tears. Alec hugged his sister, and Vamp sped them out of the room and into the bedroom. Alec could hear voices calling out to them. When Alec shut the door, Hope went into the bathroom and slammed the door shut and started the shower. Alec could hear his sister crying in the shower.

Alec sighed then called his Aunt Freya and Rebekah.

"Hey Aunties." Alec said devastated.

"Alec, what's the matter?" Rebekah asked.

"Well, long story short, the new werewolf kid at our school started saying stuff about Dad not knowing who we are. Hope lost it and attacked the kid, shifted, and then Alaric shot Hope with a crossbow. I caught it, and he kept saying this isn't us and it's our dad, and I lost it and I kinda grabbed Ric by the throat. I was so mad I wanted to kill him." Alec explained to them, furious and upset.

"Oh Alec I'm so sorry I know you wanted to kill him, but thank you for not doing it, are you and Hope okay?" Freya asked

"No not really it was horrible and Hope is devastated she broke down in front of everyone."

The bathroom door opened, and Hope emerged with a towel wrapped around her wet hair and her dressing gown on. She went to Alec's bed and laid her head on Alec's shoulder.

"Hey Aunties," Hope said with red, puffy eyes.

"Oh Hope, do you want us to come to Mystic Falls and see you guys?"

"No it's fine I'm just going to go to sleep it's late."

Alec hung up the call and hugged his sister, while Hope ended up falling asleep next to him.
