(Prepare for a few pretty long chapters, longer than what you're used to from me anyway)
3rd POV
It was the day before the class was going to summer camp and Violet and Layla had begun packing their bags for camp, blaring music since Nemuri was off on patrol and overall just making sure they had everything that was listed on the packing list.
"Ok, do you think Mr Aizawa will notice if I bring a backpack with lollies and snacks like how I usually do with camps for school?" Violet asked, pulling out a purple backpack that looked oddly similar to Dora's backpack but just shrugged and put it to the side.
Layla laughed and shrugged, "Girl I don't know, but I'll give you five bucks if he doesn't immediately take your bag off you when you get on the bus." Violet smirked and made a deal with Layla, each putting five dollars in their wallets for whoever won their little bet. They went back to packing their bags when Layla got an idea. "But if he doesn't take it off you at all, I'll give you ten dollars AND I'll tell Bakugou I like him."
Violet stopped and slowly turned around to face Layla, raising her eyebrow, "But if he takes it off me after we get to camp?" Layla smirked and crossed her arms.
"You'll give me ten dollars, you'll confess to Kiri." Violet's face turned pink, but she snickered and shook Layla's hand.
"You're on bitch! I can't wait to see you tell Bakugou you like him!"
The day went on and it was about 9 pm, the girls were both in their pj's and were sitting on the couch eating toasties and watching Ratatouille. Layla finished and took her plate to the kitchen, rinsing it and placing it in the dishwasher.
She sighed and checked the time on her phone and frowned when she saw how late it was, and the fact that Nemuri still wasn't home, "Hey, have you gotten a message from Nemuri saying she'd be on patrol until late?" She asked, checking all of her messages.
"No..." Violet said slowly, walking to the kitchen and putting her plate in the dishwasher too. "I hope nothing's happened, 'cause she'd normally message us to say she'll be late..." Her voice trailed off and the two girls shared a look before putting on their jackets and shoes before walking out the door and making their way to the police station, calling Nemuri on the way with no success in getting to Nemuri.
"Where the hell could she be?!" Violet asked in a frustrated and worried tone.
"Where could who be?"
Both girls froze and gave eachother a confused look before turning around to be met with a hooded figure, who Layla immediately recognised.
"Hey! You're that guy I met in the alleyway that one time!" Layla smiled and put her phone back into her pocket before walking closer to the man, who smirked. Violet stood behind Layla looking between the two confused, "Wha- who-" Violet stuttered, pointing between them both trying to figure out what the hell was going on and who this man was.
Layla chuckled and turned to Violet, "Violet, meet the man that I met in an alleyway that one time, man I met the alleyway that one time, meet Violet."
The man nodded and looked at Violet with his glowing blue eyes, deciding whether she was worth killing or not. She shuddered and moved closer to Layla, "He gives me the heebie-jeebies."
He chuckled and moved his gaze to Layla, his gaze hardening and becoming more serious, "I thought I told you not to wander the streets alone at night."
Layla crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows, "I'm not alone actually, I have Violet with me." she stated 'matter-of-factly'. The man didn't even bat an eye before blankly saying, "I don't think she counts." Violet blinked and got ready to throw hands, to which the man responded by igniting his blue fire on his hand.
