I couldn't believe what Cameron told me yesterday. I couldn't believe what those girls did to her. She was nothing but nice to them and all they did was mess with her and ignored her. Not even teaching her anything useful. If they wanted her to do all those things then they should have showed what to do. I'm sure she was nothing but willing to learn and make her self better to fit and be a better cheerleader. I just don't get it.
Yea I told her not to dwell on the past but doesn't mean I can't question it. No wonder she switched schools. But everything happens for a reason. I mean if that didn't happen then I wouldn't know who she was.
My phone started to ring making me break from my thoughts. I looked at the caller I.D. and it was, my friend, Chris. "Hey man, what's up?" I answered. I heard some shuffling around before he answered.
"Hey there's supposed a whole bunch of people going out to the mud hole tonight are you coming?" He asked.
I was fixing to tell him no that we had school tomorrow, but I forgot we had a day off. The teachers had a planing day before the new quarter started.
"Yea I guess. What time does it start again?" I asked wanting to beat the traffic in there. It could get crazy while waiting in line. They usually had a pre party before they opened up the gates.
"Umm, It should start around seven." He said.
"Alright I might head out there. I'll have to ask my dad so he doesn't kill me like last time I went out there without asking." I said with a small laugh.
Chris laughed and responded. "Alright I'll see you out there."
We hung up and I got off my bed and went into the living room seeing if my dad was done there. He was sat in front of the t.v. with a bowl of chips beside him. My mom wasn't in the room. She must be in her office doing some work.
"Hey dad I was wondering if I could go out to the mud hole tonight." I asked him standing next to him.
"Don't you have school tomorrow?" He asked looking up at me.
"No, the teachers have a planing day for the new nine weeks remember? The school called about it." I explained.
"I don't see why not. Just don't break anything, okay? I'm tired of buying parts for that thing." He said giving me a pointed look.
I gave him a laugh. "You act like I break it all the time. You're the one always breaking things on yours." I said.
"Shhh don't tell your mother. I've been blaming it on you." He said and gave me a mischievous look.
"C'mon dad! What the heck? I don't want to face her wrath."
"Don't get your panties in a twist. I give her the 'his just a kid' speech and she forgets about it." He said.
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever works dad." I said and went out to the shed to load up my four wheeler in the back of the truck. Before I did that I made sure everything was working. I didn't want to get down there and something happen before I get ride around and play in the mud.
Once I made sure everything was working I went back upstairs to change into some older clothes so mom wouldn't kill me for dirtying school clothes that she bought. I made sure I had on the right boots on too. I'm bringing a extra pair of clothes so I don't get into my truck all dirty. I all ready had to clean my self and my four wheeler I didn't need to add another thing to that list. It was now six and I want to beat the traffic there so I headed out.
Once I was there I walked around the line seeing what other people was up too. There was so many people there and their was one person who I wasn't to expect to see there.
