Chapter 8

Lin Zhen glanced at him speechlessly, pointed to his feet and said, "You have a blister on your feet."

"Where is it?" Ji Congzhe hurriedly lowered his head, Damn, this is not just a bubble, it is simply a pond. He has never seen such a big bubble in his twenty-six years of life.

Lin Zhen asked, "Don't you feel it yourself?"

Ji Congzhe frowned, "I seem to be feeling something now, what should I do?"

Lin Zhen took his feet back from the basin, stood up and walked out the door, "I'll ask Aunt Yang to borrow a needle."

Ji Congzhe took his foot out of the footbath and put it on the knee of the other leg. The blisters were on the sole of the foot. When he pressed it in, it was soft. It was full of liquid. It was okay, and it didn't hurt much.

Lin Zhen came back after borrowing the needle. He first washed the needle with water in the bucket, then struck a match and lit it to disinfect the needle.

Then he put Ji Congzhe's feet on his knees, poked them with a needle, and the pus inside instantly surged out.

Now Ji Congzhe felt pain, especially when there were water stains on his feet. The wound was on fire when it touched it.

His foot couldn't land on the ground at all. Lin Zhen had no choice but to help him up the stairs step by step after pouring the foot washing water.

"You don't have to go up the mountain with me tomorrow." Lin Zhen lay down on the bed and covered himself with a quilt.

Ji Congzhe lamented that the blisters came in time, and he occasionally went up the mountain to dig fresh bamboo shoots. If he had dug them every day, he would feel like vomiting when he saw the bamboos and bamboo shoots. Lin Zhen's suggestion was exactly what he wanted, but he still said hypocritically, "You said so, Then I would rather obey your orders than be respectful."

"Yeah." Lin Zhen turned on the light.

The first cold wave of winter came fiercely, and the north wind outside the house blew loudly. The shabby roof leaked wind everywhere, and the house had no ceiling. Ji Congzhe felt that fine dust fell on his face when he slept.

Soaking his feet in hot water failed to warm the bed. He couldn't bear it anymore, so he stuffed one foot into the bed next to him. It was quite warm. After a while, he put the other foot in Stuffed it.

Just like that, Lin Zhen was woken up by two cold feet. He turned on the light bulb and found that Ji Congzhe was twisted like a twist.

"Huh? What for?" Ji Congzhe's eyes were pierced by the sudden light. He opened his sleepy eyes and looked at Lin Zhen in confusion.

"What are you doing?" Lin Zhen frowned and kicked his foot.

"Oh, it's too cold. Don't be so stingy, stuff it for me."

  "I'm not used to it."

"Why do you have so many problems? If you push it for me, it will kill you. If you don't want to, I will squeeze in all my body."

Lin Zhen's expression was stiff, probably because he was really afraid that Ji Congzhe could stuff something else besides his feet, so he had to turn off the light and let Ji Congzhe's feet rest on his legs.

It was late in the winter morning, and Ji Congzhe was woken up by a rustling movement next to him. He opened his eyes and saw Lin Zhen doing something in front of the window.
