Joe pov:

It's just a casual Thursday at the library. It's been a week today since the incident with beck happend. I would be lying if I said I don't miss her, I do. But what could I of done? she knew too much.

*present day*
it's a casual Thursday in the moonys as I'm stocking up books on the shelf, when i hear the opening of the of the door. I turn my head to see a young woman about early 20s. she strolls around the shop as I observe her but not to make it obvious. I see as she picks the book 'crime and punishment'. She has good taste. She turns her head toward my way and smiles.oh that smile. She starts to walk up to me as I make it look like I'm stocking shelf

"hi, do you work here?" She says in a nervous but somehow covered by a confident tone. As I hear her speak to me i think. Hello you, I shake my head. no I thought. I'm not doing this again expecially after beck. I turn my head and says "hello" then clears throat* "yeah I do work here" I try my best to sound calm but I'm going crazy at the moment the way she's looking at me. those eyes, those dimples and oh those lips.

i shake my head and remind myself of beck but all I can think about is maybe she's diffrent. Maybe she could change me?. "all in as going to ask if you think this book is worth reading" she says as holding up 'crime and punishment'. "I've heard great things about it and was thinking before buying it ask if it's  worth it."she says. "'crime and punishment'  its a delicatecy. Totally worth buying" I give her a friendly smile

"okay then I will buy it. thank you..." she looks at my name tag "...joe" it's like pure music to my ears hearing her say my name.. if only knew hers "you welcome.." her eyebrows raise then she says "Alice" she says smiling... Alice.. Alice goldberg. It has a ring too it.

"Well I better go buy this then" she says as she walks up to the cashier as I watch from afar observing her. Before she leave she sees me and says "it was nice to meet you joe", "you too Alice" I say smiling at her. She smiles and nods and walks out.

Ever since you left
I can't stop thinking about you.Whats so special about you Alice?
