The Alpha's Mate. (Alpha X Weak Omega)

CHAPTER 01.

JADEN

Awakened by my alarm clock's blaring, I bolted upright, instantly aware of the mess I was in. A quick glance at the clock confirmed my fears: 6:40. With school starting at 7, I was in deep trouble.

"I'm so screwed," I whispered to myself, scrambling to get dressed. I grabbed whatever clothes I could find, then dashed to the bathroom to brush my teeth in record time.

I sprinted downstairs, snatched a piece of bread from the kitchen, and shoved it in my mouth, barely chewing.

"Jaden, whats with the hurry?" Mom's voice cut through my panic.

"Mom, its the first day of highschool remember?"  Being late on the first day of high school was not an option.

"Ah, okay. But remember to be careful!" she called out again as I bolted out the door, her words barely registering as I raced against time.

"Yeah I will, love you!' I yelled back, as I closed the door behind me.

It was my first day at a new high school, though technically, it wasn't my first ever.

The truth about me was a carefully guarded secret. I was an Omega, if my identity was exposed, my life would be in danger.

Omegas, feared for their potent abilities, were often hunted by those seeking to exploit their powers.

Wealthy individuals would pay handsomely to capture an Omega, making my kind perpetually at risk.

But I wasn't like any other Omegas they feared. I lacked the power and strength. I was Vulnerable and easily overpowered, I had always been an easy target for those looking to take advantage.

Now, here I was, approaching an Alpha-only high school. A place where I had to masquerade as something I wasn't, for Omega schools were non-existent. Our only option was to blend in among Alphas, hiding our true selves to avoid detection and the peril that came with it.

The weight of my secret pressed heavily upon me as I walked through the school gates, stepping into the hallway.

A/N: I just found out that alphas are stronger than omegas. I thought omegas are more powerful than alphas because the word omega seems cooler than alpha.

So in this book, I will be making the omegas stronger than the alphas.

I did not know this until I questioned my friends. I made this book for fun and I did not did any research of alphas and omegas.
