The women lay together in the same bed for the next couple of days, they spend all of their time together until they have to go to work.
When they go to work at the city hall, they must act as if they do not know each other. When they talk they talk as acquaintances, not girlfriends. But on this day, this day was different. The women showed up to work at their different times as usual, but when Abigail showed up, a male coworker, Carl was waiting for her. "Good morning Abigail!" He says cheerfully walking next to her, "Good morning Carl, how are you?" He smiles at her with a bit of a blush "I'm great now that you've arrived!". She looks at him, as she's about to talk he speaks "uhm.. Abigail I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go to dinner with me?". She stops and spins around, she stares at him and she's about to respond before Jessie comes up behind him. "What's going on?" She says with a smile and an odd jealous tone in her voice. Carl smiles at her "Oh! Good morning Jessie, I was just asking Abigail if she'd like to go to dinner with me tonight!", Jessie glares at him before looking at Abigail "no she wouldn't." This causes Abigail to snap her head towards Jessie. "She's already with someone." Jessie says protectively causing Carl to raise an eyebrow "who may I ask?" Abigail is about to speak before Jessie glares at him "Me." She says before grabbing Abigail's arm and walking off.
When they're away Abigail slaps Jessie's arm away "What the fuck was that?!" She shouts. Jessie jumps a little "I don't want other people flirting with you!" She shouts back, "YOU JUST OUTTED US!! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE?" Abigail shouts, tears forming in her eyes. Jessie has never seen Abigail upset, this makes her feel guilty. "Honey it's fine! It was just Carl." Jessie says in a calm voice, Abigail shakes her head and shouts "IT DOESNT MATTER JESSIE. OKAY? HE'LL TELL ED. WE'LL GET FIRED!" Tears fall down her face. Jessie realizes what she's done and the impact it will have on her and Abigail. She puts her hand on Abigail's cheek "Honey it's okay. If we get fired we'll at least be together.." she smiles.. but Abigail pushes her hand away. She storms off, out of Jessie's sight. Jessie didn't see her for the rest of the day until she did end up getting fired, as well has a letter being sent to Abigail.
Jessie comes home and sees Abigail drunk sat at the dining room table with the letter in her hand as she sobs. Jessie comes up to her hand rubs her shoulder, kissing her cheek. Abigail just sits there and sobs as she chugs the last of the bottle of wine. Jessie has always worried about her lovers drinking, so she takes the bottle out of her hand and places it away. Abigail glares and attempts to stand but stumbles into Jessie's arms. Jessie lifts her up and holds her bridal style, bringing her to their room. "Honey.. I'm sorry for what I did.." she says wrapping her arms around Abigail, kissing her forehead. Abigail wraps her legs around her and huffs "it's okay... you just love me so much that you didn't wanna hide it anymore.." she says before kissing her on the lips. She drunkenly falls asleep in Jessie's arms, trying to undress herself to maybe have intercourse but Jessie stops her and shakes her head "honey you're drunk.. not now okay?" Causing Abigail to groan sadly but nod and snuggles back up to Jessie. The two women fall asleep together and forget about their entire day as they fall more and more in love with each other.
