"IT'S YOUR FAULT!" one punched from his father then Dash fell to the nearest couch in his office. Humahapdi na ang kanyang katawan at mukha dahil sa mga sapak at bugbog. Dash sighed deeply, fisting both of his hands preventing himself to defend his body from physical assault. His fists were shivering and his mouth was sore, shaking. His whole body was trembling.

"The command is simple, Dash! You marry the girl, then you can have Christiano's empire. I could have it!"

"I don't care if you don't like her! Nakaya mo nga ng ilang buwang pag-a-akto na gusto mo ang babae. Ano pa kaya ang panghabang buhay?! Or until the company will be yours for the taking. Until I can manage it on my own hands."

The Saravia was an old family name originating a hundred years ago. Family of lawyers, judges, and lawmakers in the country. His grandfather Christiano Saravia had been managing his company for almost all his life. He had been at the ripe age of eighty, but his will and testament had said that he could pass the full authority to one of the eldest sons of his sons. His grandfather had thrived to manage a dying law firm at the age of twenty eight. It was written that a group of lawyers who had been building a law firm got involve in a scandal issue, thus impacting the firm. His grandfather had seen the sign to acquire the firm together with his brother who owned a large mining industry.

They put their brains together and build an empire that had been incorporating the industry.

However, Christiano had three sons. Fernando, Marcello, and Christiano Jr. His father had Dash as the eldest. Tito Marcello had Mikael as the eldest, but aiming to be part of the Philippine Army. Tito Christian had Charles as the eldest, and aiming for the company.

In summary, his father's strong competitor was Tito Christian. But in truth, hindi siya nakikipag-kompitensiya kay Charles. He could actually had the company if he wanted to. However, his father wanted it too, and Dash was his army on this battle.

And marrying Emerald was the fulfillment of Christiano's last condition. But Dash ruined his father's plans since months ago Dash had confessed to Emerald that he couldn't do it.

"Because she has now turned eighteen?" Emerald chuckled evilly and it echoed the whole office. Napatingin si Dash sa sinabi nito, hindi naman niya naiintindihan. "Dash, I have been jailed by this agreement, too. But being engaged with you has given me the right to have an office in my father's company. It's so stupid reason, but our industry works this way. And only stupid people can't understand why you were so eager to act these fake feelings of ours since you can't express the truth of yours. You like her..."

"Hindi ko alam kung sino ang tinutukoy mo?" Dash looked away.

"Ang galing mong umarte sa harap ng ibang tao na mahal natin ang isa't-isa. Just so you can keep your feelings hidden because you feel it is illegal, it is wrong. It isn't right."
