I woke up in the middle of the night. I look at my phone.
Did you do your presentation to music class?
I read Alexia's message.
Presentation?
I sent her a message.
Yeah... Mine is about Martin Garrix.
Mine is about Don Diablo, but I haven't finished yet.
That was the last message before I started panicking.
"How am I going to finish it? Music is my first lesson tomorrow. Ohh, gosh." my pulse was on the roof.
I took a deep breath to calm myself down, before I started to continue my presentation.
William
I finished my shift in the hospital. I parked the car in the garage and I opened the door. I put my backpack on the couch in the living room. I went to Sophi's room. I hope she's sleeping. I opened the door and I saw her doing something on her laptop.
"Sweetheart... You need to sleep." I sit down next to her.
"I forgot my presentation, Will. I have to finish it by tomorrow. I just need a few more lines to write... I promise..."
"But after you finish it, you go to sleep. Okay?"
"I promise, Will" she looks at me with a smile. I give her a hug and kiss her forehead.
"Sweet dreams" I leave her room.
Next day
Sophi
"Did you finish your presentation?" Alexia sits next to me in the classroom.
"Yes... I did Lexi. What about you?" I look at her.
"I finished it last week."
"You're lucky. I forgot it. I finished it last night."
"I hope you slept last night."
"Yes, I could sleep for a few hours."
"Guess what..." she looked at me with a huge smile.
"What?"
"Who have three tickets to the Garrix show?"
"You?"
"Dad said Alex would come with you and me to the concert."
"My brother?"
"Yes... Do you know any other guys, who's name is Alex?"
"No... So we're going to see Martin?"
"Yes... What do you think? Good early birthday gift for you?"
"The best early gift." I laughed.
"Afternoon's programs?" She looked at me. "I'm going shopping with Sierra. You know baby Hemmings is coming soon. She said she needed to buy stuff for the baby."
"She's 8 months pregnant, right?" Lexi nodded. "The baby is going to be a girl, if my memory is good."
"Yes... Sierra said she wants to name her Emily, but Luke wants to name her Alina. So the final version is Emily Alina Hemmings."
"Ahh... That's a pretty cute name."
"What's your program this afternoon?"
"Drum lessons with Asthon."
After the lesson
"Next lesson?" Alexia looked at me. "I have gym class, you?"
"Drama." I said, and Lexi laughed.
"I don't know why we need to have drama lessons. I mean our life is a drama." she laughed.
"Yes... It is... With my eight overprotective doctor brothers." I started laughing.
"Or with my dad and my uncle." We laughed for a few minutes before we went to the next lesson.
