Rosalie couldn't stop thinking of him. Days went by and today he'd be reaching the Capitol. She wanted to make a good impression, so he knew she still cared for him.

She put on her bright red academy uniform, a skirt falling past her knees and a large long sleeve. It wasn't her number one choice but she did have classes after this little meeting.

She puts her hair into a braid, a green bow hugging the end of it. As Rosalie stared into the mirror, she saw her seven year old self, running around the great forests in District 7.

Treech and her were best friends, always finding things to do. Their favorite place was the little creek near a meadow. Flowers bloomed there in the summer and the moon shined on the frozen water in the winter.

They'd spend hours there, talking, splashing, digging, climbing. It was their spot. No one elses. I wonder who else he brought there.

Rosalie finishes her makeup, again, only a simple facial care and mascara. As she goes downstairs, she spots an Avox struggling with a basket.

"Here, let me help you." Rosalie goes up to the Avox and gently takes and carries it downstairs to the laundry room. The Avox smiles again as Rosalie leaves.

It was still hot outside, the warm breeze never leaving. The air wasn't like back at home though. I wonder how Treech feels about the Capitol.

The train station was not a far walk either, or it just felt that way because of Rosalie's nerves. As she gets to the station, she sees someone else.

Coriolanus, beautiful Coriolanus. His stupid blonde curls that swooped his forehead, his stupid blue eyes you could get lost in if you stare at for too long, and his stupid smile that could bring joy to Rosalie's face instantly.

She had to admit, he was beautiful.

"Coriolanus, what a surprise!" A smile appeared on his face as he looked up at Rosalie. "Rosalie, what brings you here?" There was a rose in his hands. Shit. Rosalie realized she'd forgotten to bring Treech anything.

"Meeting my tribute. You too?" She pointed at the flower and Coriolanus smiled. "I wanted to make a good impression, but you shouldn't have to worry about that with your tribute. When someone meets you, they instantly fall in love with your kindness."

Coriolanus didn't know she knew Treech. She had only told Festus.

Rosalie could only smile before the train pulled up. Her body filled with anxiousness as the first tribute came out the cart. She started walking to the cart, looking for Treech.

As she was walking, she wasn't looking and bumped into a tribute. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" She looked at who she had bumped into and saw him.

He definitely grew up. Last time she saw him, she was taller than him. Now he had atleast 8 inches on her. His face was more defined but still had those soft cheeks he's had since he was a baby.

His hair grew too, a curl covering his forehead. It looked like he still wore his hat. She gave him it as a gift for his 6th birthday.

"Treech?" She looks at him closely before smiling widely. Treech had a confused look on his face before he finally realized who it was. "Rosalie?"

"Oh, I missed you so much Treech!" Rosalie pulled him into a tight hug, but, he didn't hug back. Not at first, atleast. He was still processing everything.

As Treech realized what was happening, he immediately hugged Rosalie back. "Oh sweetie, it's you." Rosalie almost wanted to cry. "How could I let this happen?" She whispers as her head goes into his chest.

A peacekeeper pulls Treech off Rosalie and pulls him to a van. Suddenly, Coriolanus grabs her arm and jumps into the van with her as the peacekeepers stop looking.

Rosalie sits down next to where Treech was standing, sort of hiding behind him. Coriolanus found himself in the front of everyone. Always the star of the show.

"Hi." "What's the matter pretty boy? You in the wrong cage?" A tribute speaks up. He was tall, his dark skin standing out against his bright clothes.

"No, this cage is delightful." Rosalie rolled her eyes. Seriously, how dumb is Coriolanus? As he says that, the tribute pushes Coriolanus against the wall and holds him there.

"I'll kill you right now." "He'll do it. Reaper killed a peacekeeper back in 11." His district partner spoke up. "Shut up, Dill!"

"I saw we all kill him, nothing left to lose." A kid with one arm stands up as if going to go over to him. The tributes start agreeing with each other before Rosalie speaks up.

"Y'all got family at home? If you kill him, the Capitol will kill all of them." No one noticed her before. Everyone turned to look at Rosalie, Treech standing protectively infront of her.

"Besides, he's my mentor. Might need him." Another girl sitting speaks up. It's the girl with the rainbow dress. "Hey, how come rainbow girl here gets a mender? Where are all ours?" Festus' tribute gets up in the girls face.

"Mentor. You all get one." Coriolanus was annoyed at the fact she didn't say it right. "And how come they didn't show up?" "Just not inspired, I guess." Coriolanus' tribute smiles at him before the car starts tipping.

Rosalie felt arms wrap around her as she started to fall. As she lands, Treech breaks her fall. As Rosalie sits up, she realizes how awkward she looks straddled on his lap. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that." Treech just smiles at her as she gets up.

She looks around and sees cameras everywhere. Were they... in a zoo?
