The moon casted a sliver glow over Camp Jupiter and New Rome as Jason and Reyna laid in bed together, his arms wrapped around her in a loving embrace. Their hands clasped together over her stomach.

A sudden pain jolted Reyna awake. She sat up quickly while next to her Jason called out her name softly, but she didn't hear him as she peeled away the blanket and gave a scream as the sheets around her were blood stained. "Reyna, what's wrong?" Jason asked.

"I don't know." Reyna said worriedly. Slowly she could feel herself drifting in and out of darkness. Jason quickly got out of bed. "I'm taking you to Will." he threw on some clothing and gently picked up Reyna. Her skin was as pale as snow and her eyelids fluttered.

The tension in the room was thick enough to cut with a knife. As Reyna laid on an infirmary bed. Jason held her hand and kissed her knuckles as tears stung his eyes and he prayed silently.

"A miscairrage, Reyna lost the baby. I'm sorry." Will said softly.

Jason and Reyna saw by a small campfire. The sun was starting to rise and the air was thick with shared pain.

"I never imagined it would hurt this much." Reyna whispered.

"We need to let go Rey." Jason said gently.

She nodded and picked up the small framed ultrasound photo. "Good night little one." she whispered and gently kissed the photo. Jason took it from her trembling hands and tossed it into the burning flames.
