"Don't do that anymore," Martinus said and looked for the coach.

"Okay, okay, no big deal," said the coach. "Group two can leave, group one still stays."

He waited until the other three people had left before he started.

"Well, it's worse than I thought," he said simply.

"Why is she even here?" Martinus asked.

The coach wasn't happy with his impenetrability.

"Windy has an interesting and useful gift. Very, very useful" He looked at the girl carefully. "The problem is that he doesn't know how to use it. Because you deny him, am I right?"

Windy kept her mouth tight and wasn't looking at anyone. She was still breathing heavily and leaning on Jungkook's shoulder.

"We will teach you to accept it or endure its pain," the trainer's gaze was emotionless. "We don't need your strength, we know we can't achieve it. We could use your persistence. We want you to be able to determine the number and location of enemies with the wind and hear their conversations. You have to learn to stay alert for several hours."

Jungkook's heart boiled. What is he talking about? What few hours? After two minutes she was on the verge of exhaustion. But the coach wouldn't let them say anything. He sent them to their rooms.

For some reason, Windy had a single room in the boarding school. Maybe the teaching staff decided that it was better not to condemn the Wind to spending time with an element that was hostile by nature. Normally, boys were not allowed to enter girls' rooms (this rule did not apply to staying in the other sex's wings, however), but being a team assigned to a special task carried certain privileges.

The three of them now sat together in a long silence. Windy slowly rested. On the way to the bedroom, blood gushed from her nose and Jungkook almost fried his brain in his anger. Now he was mostly boiling inside himself and cursing in his thoughts. Meanwhile, Martinus was looking for a solution.

"Let's try something," he finally suggested.

"You're right, I'll go to the room and get something stronger," Jungkook stood up from his seat.

"That's not what I mean, jerk" (Wanker? What kind of jerk? - Jungkook) "Windy's only task is to spread something like a spider's web, a protective cloak. He doesn't have to do anything else. She should not lose strength even to lift one finger."

The team listened to him carefully.

"The wind always dances around you. The wind is everywhere. You don't shoot it, so you have to produce it, you just have to listen or take control of it. It probably hurts you to let it out. Maybe working with what is already there will be a little easier."

Jungkook minced Martinus' words slowly, and Windy rose on her elbows with a twinkle in her eye.

"Yes! Let's try." She said happily. Jungkook felt jealousy again and didn't think that Martinus impressed the girl.

"Just... let's not tell the teachers about this." The other two were surprised at first, but after a while they realized that he was right about that too. The teachers didn't see them as people. They were like pawns on a chessboard.

"Amazing that something sensible came out of your mouth," he said sarcastically. "Don't get fired up right away, that's enough excitement for today. You need to eat and rest" he looked at Windy. Where does this strange satisfaction in her eyes come from? What is he so happy about?

"Do you like playing UNO?" she asked.

Jungkook would like wading in turds for her.

"I'll go to the kitchen to get something to eat. Team integration is important," added Martinus.

Windy and Jungkook were alone in the room. A silence hung between them, strangely tense and awkward. A silence in which emotions run wild and words come to the lips that seem too early to be uttered. Windy sat with her legs crossed. Staring at the floor. With a slight smile on his lips. Jungkook couldn't stand it and started clowning around, walking on his hands.

Finally, Martinus showed up and they spent an evening together that Windy treasured deep in her heart as one of her best memories. In general, in the future, she often recalled every moment she spent with that black-eyed boy. And her heart bled at every thought of him.

Martinus, it turned out, was very lucky at cards. When he won for the third time in a row, Jungkook in a furious frenzy spat his salmon sandwich in his face as he called him a charlatan and accused him of cheating.

Windy, meanwhile, was laughing heartily until her stomach hurt.
