chapter 5 -VEGAS-

As soon as I was out of that plane I speed walk towards the restrooms but as soon as I walked through the door I'm greeted by the sight of my colleagues lined up Infront of the mirrors freshening up after the long flight. Kuhn does his skin care, patting the products into his skin as he admires his face when suddenly he gasps.

Everyone stops what they're doing to look at him. I guess they still weren't use to how dramatic Kuhn is . he leans in closer to the mirror, lifting his hair. I walk towards an empty sink with a mirror sighing. "What is it now ?" I ask, placing my toiletry bag on the counter in front of me.

"A SPOT !" he wails nearly deafening me. I roll my eyes at how dramatic he was being and continue to scrounge through my bag for my comb. "here" wat shoves a small box into Kuhns hands. " Use this for your volcano," he laughs, but Kuhn lifts it, threatening to hit him with it. "Ai Wat" he squeals , Wat holds his hands up, surrendering.

I glance at Tay, who's combing his hair, getting frustrated with a stray piece of hair that won't stay down. I smile "here let me help." i chuckle, slightly pulling him closer. Tay was a bit taller than me, so i had to look up to examine the problem. i grab a little tub from my bag, unscrewing the cap and swiping a bit of gel onto my fingers. i rub my hands together before running them through Tay's hair, styling it the way he usually does it.

the tip of my tongue sticks out as i get to work, making Tay laugh a little. I perfect it like a piece of artwork. "There perfect." I smile, stepping back to admire my work then turn him to look at the mirror "see handsome" i say, placing my hand on his shoulder.

suddenly i hear a loud groan "oh my god just fuck already " thyme zips up his bag. i glare at him but it bounces off him like a mirror. "what its about time someone's said it" he continues. i sigh stepping away from Tay. "we're best friends nothing more" i tell him but i could see he didn't believe me. "thyme that's like you and maya sleeping together" i tell him but he scoffs " impossible " he says . i look at Tay "seriously there's nothing between us honestly" i defend "right?" i nudge him playfully. "right" he mumbles a reply before packing his things up. "I've got to call my mum let her know i got here safely" he says "catch you guys later" he lets us know before leaving. thyme shakes his head soon leaving too followed by wat leaving me and Kuhn who was still obsessing over the tiny pimple hes discovered on his forehead.

I splash some water on my face before drying it with a dry face cloth. "what a great start" I sigh softly, Kuhn looks over "huh?" he questions. "nothing" I tell him spraying some cologne onto my clothes before packing all my stuff back into its little bag. "see you later" I say walking out dragging my case behind me

I step out of the air port and I'm hit by the dry heat in the air and feel the sweat drip down my forehead almost immediately. suddenly I feel someone's hand on my shoulder "the rest are already in the truck" Tay tells me pointing to a 2 seater truck with my colleagues sitting in the back. "I want to sit inside" I hear Kuhn behind me, "I've just fixed my hair" he says putting his sunglasses on and dragging his luggage towards the truck.

I climb up into the back of the truck helping Tay up and we sit back waiting for our departure. once we were out the parking lot we were able to take in the scenery . I throw my head back allowing the fresh air to travel through my lungs and the wind to flow through my hair. I take a deep breath , a sigh almost "I could get use to this " I say when suddenly I feel Tay's head on my shoulder , he smiles closing his eyes "same, I'm just gonna take a nap here okay" he tells me . I nod leaning my head against his closing my eyes as well but could still feel everyone's eyes on us. "Keep staring and you guys will have to sleep with one eye open tonight " I warn them .

The truck pulls up Infront of a fancy looking hotel. One that was way too nice for people like us. Khun steps out taking off his sunglasses "now this is what I'm talking about" he smiles and hands his bag to the doorman before walking in.

"Are we sure this is the right place , it looks a bit fancy" I ask suspicious as to how the airline was able to put us in something so nice , especially since we have people like wat with us . "I wouldn't complain " tay says quietly "just go with it " he says supriseed by the doorman unloading our bags onto a cart for us.

"Well I heard they have a pool so if you need me you know where I'll be " wat informs us before running through like an excited kid. "Same, gotta hit the sun beds " thyme puts his sunglasses on and walks in aswell with maya arm in arm leaving tay and I alone once again.

I look at him like I had no clue what to do now , which was partially true. I didn't want things to be made awkward between us just because our friends make it that way.

He suddenly laughs placing his arm around my shoulders. "Come on let's go check in " he says walking me inside.

Walking through the lobby made me feel poor . Everyone looked so wealthy and the inside looked even fancier than the outside. We walk up to the front desk where a young lady greets us in English. She was definitely a local , American. "Good morning gentleman " she says . Yes it was already morning is what I just noticed. "We'd like to check in please , its under tay and pete from International Thai Airways " tay says. He seemed so confident and fluent when speaking English it made me smile at him. "Here you go gentleman, enjoy your stay " she smiles handing us our key cards with numbers on them . "What" tay smirks as we walk towards the elevator. " your English is a lot better " I tell him. Tay chuckles " I sure hope so or those lessons would be a waste of time" he says.

"You go for lessons who taught you" I ask but suddenly he looked as if the happiness was just sucked out of him. "Oh " is all I can say . " hey let's have dinner tonight " I change the subject with a smile. " obviously after I have a nap , jet lags a killer " I say .

We walk down the hall towards our rooms which are right across from each other . Tay smiles " definitely, see you at 7?" He asks. I nod " see you then". And we both disappear into our rooms.

As soon as the door closes I look around the room and Im immediately amazed . The room was spacious and minimal yet still decorated beautifully. The bed was massive draped in crisp white bed sheets and in the corner of the room on a small table was a gift basket filled with what looked like bath accessories . The large floor to ceiling windows let a lot of light in and the large glass sliding door lead to a balcony that overlooked the pool area. All in all this room was very luxurious and I couldn't wait to just fall back into bed. I place my bags by the foot of the bed and fall into the soft mattress my whole body sinking in. I release a sigh of relief but before I knew it I was drifting off to sleep.
