i bumped it up and my teammate gently set it to me. i took three steps up and spiked it with all my might to the girl on the other teams feet. she leaned down on her knees to bump it but missed it. that feeling was the best, all my teammates rushing to give me a high five. the funny thing is, they hit my hand like they were scared i was gonna whack their hands like i whacked the ball. we walked off the court since we had twenty one points. i gulped down my red gatorade. this is my favorite sport. this is my favorite thing to do. being on the court with my teammates that turn to friends that turn to family. i had no care in the world. little did i know what the future had to hold. i still had my whole life ahead of me. and my only wish is to go back. i want to think back. i am going to think back.
