Chapter 8: A Burst of Power

The Stone cracks against my back.
I've already been fighting this guy for 20 minutes, and he doesn't even have a scratch!
"PATHETIC HALF BREED!" The Man yells out.
"Who.. " I cough, blood mixed with the Saliva.
"Who are you??" I ask.
"I'll only ask once more, Join us! Stay out of our way! The Greatanian Army cannot be stopped!" He says.
His eyes glow bright red.
"Get up Steel-Girl! Come on!" Someone yells.
"These Insects believe you to be some hero.. they NEED YOU TO PROTECT THEM! Because they are too weak to save themselves!" He says, Smirking.
"Hahahahaha... fucking pathetic" He says, now frowning. His grip tightens around my neck, squeezing it. Can't.. move..
"Get up!" A gust of wind passes by my face, as the noise of a body hitting stone rings through my ears.
"Hey! It's my turn!" Mia says.
My eyes open, as Mia is Wearing a suit, seemingly made from what's left of dad's but spray painted red and black.
She flies at him, But he takes her down quicker than he took me down, Punching her, once, twice, 4 times, before throwing her. He uses his heat-vision as she screams out in pain. No! Nonono! He can hurt me, but I won't let him hurt her. A Wave of Rage washes over me, as my injuries heal. I take off, cracking the ground, and Flying into Him.
"How dare you!!" I Yell out, dragging his face through the street. His elbow slams against my face, knocking me away.
"Hahahaha... when I'm done with you, I'll make sure to kill her, slowly, painfully, making sure to enjoy every second, then make you watch as I burn this pathetic world down.." he says, his fist Hits My stomach, as I gasp for breath. He hits my side, before throwing me into a semi. I peel myself out from the Metal, before ripping the door off.
"Go! Run as far as you can!" I told the driver. I get pulled away and tossed through a building.
"Your humanity makes you weak! Morally and Physically!" He yells out, Punching me over and Over, blood gushes from my nose, as I get thrown into the street. People are gathering around, watching what's happening. No you idiots run!
"No.. go! Run!" I manage to yell out, spitting out blood. Heat-Vision Cuts the ground around them, making them unable to leave.
"No! Watch as I kill your hero!" He yells out
He Grabs My hair, holding my head up, before Punching me. I can feel My skull cracking against his fist.. I can't..
"This is the planet's mightiest warrior? Pathetic.. fucking pathetic! The Greatanian Army will wipe this Spec of a planet out in seconds.." he Yells out.. my eyes, fixed on the ground..
I can't move... every bone feels like it's been splintered into hundreds of pieces, my muscles feel like they've been torn and Crushed...
I remember my dad's words.
"The people you love are worth fighting for."
"You can do anything you set your mind to."
I try to get back up, as electricity sparks from The ground, and wraps around my hands.
"Your hero is defeated! Hahaha she can't even pick herself off the ground right now. This fight is done, and this planet is doomed" He yells out.
I get up onto my feet. It Still hurts like hell, but the Adrenaline, and Anger seems to numb it a little.
The crowd starts clapping, and cheering as He looks back at me.
"THIS FIGHT ISN'T OVER UNTIL I'M DEAD! AND AS YOU CAN SEE, I AIN'T DEAD YET!" I Yell out. He flies at me, but I feel faster! I move towards the side, and grab his leg, slamming him into the ground. He kicks my leg from under me, as I fall to the ground. He launches, about to punch me, when I roll to the right, and his fist gets stuck in the ground. He rips his fist from the ground, before Flying right at me, Grabbing a Car And slamming it onto me. I tear through the car before punching him with all the strength I can muster, as he goes flying into the air. He Rips a piece of metal framing from a nearby building, and swings it at me, Knocking me through a building. He flies after me, grabbing me, and slamming my face into the ground. I kick him off, before using my heat-vision to push him further away. He puts his hand up, blocking it from hitting his face. He Pushes towards me, and Throws me against the wall. Won't lose! I refuse to let him win! No matter how many times I fall!
I picked myself up.
"You just don't stay down do ya kid?" He asks, seeming both annoyed and impressed.
"Not when I still have things and people to fight for.." I say.
He hits me again, and I can feel My ribs shatter against his fist, knocking me down.
I get up again.. can't give in..
He tries to punch me, but a black gloved hand catches the fist.
"Stay out of this kid, you'll just get burnt." He warns Mia.
"Nah, I'm used to the Burn anyway." She says, throwing him against a wall. She Punches him, again, breaking his nose. She's stronger than me! How? I mean I'm not complaining, but how?
She hits him again, and I can hear his ribs shatter. She Smirks as the blood from his nose drips onto the ground. She kicks him again, sending him up, but before he's too far in the air grabbing him, slamming him onto the ground. She stands on top of him, Punching him over and over. She's going to kill him!
I limp over, and grab her arm before she hits him.
"That's enough! He's down" I say.
"He's a villain!" Mia protests.
"We don't kill villains! We take them down." I say.
"Fine." She says. My suit forms power nullification cuffs on him.
