"NOOOOOOHOHOAAAAUUHHH!" I Yell out.. I failed… I couldn't save her… and now…
I hit the ground, the emotions unable to be contained. My Knuckles bleed, as my tears hit the ground.
An hour later, my mind goes to some good memories… it's all I can do right now..
I remember movie nights with my mom, Sleepovers, when Mia and I skipped half a school day to go to a party… Heh mom was Furious… but it was fun..
"Here.." Mia hands me a tray of food..
"Was it worth it?" I ask..
She looks both taken aback and confused.
"What?" She asks, looking confused.
"WAS KILLING HIM WORTH IT?" I Yell out.
"Was betraying everyone worth it?" I ask.
She looks like she's about to cry when she walks away..
Anger takes over, as I Throw the tray against the wall.
I'd rather starve! I'm going to die one way or another…
Mia walks back over, before the power in the room goes out..
"The security system will be back on in 4 minutes, I'll get you to the escape pods, get a team together, you'll need help, just don't come back for me, you got 4 days to take them down before they destroy Earth." She Opens the cell, and Grabs Me, flying me to the escape pods.
"Why.. Why do this?" I ask..
"I… he was never supposed to kill her.. he promised if I brought you to him alive… that he'd… he'd bring them back.." she says..
"I… I never wanted anyone to get hurt… I just… I wanted them back.." she adds. The power's kicks on..
"Shit! That was quicker than expected!" She flies faster, before handing me my phone and my suit, now transformed into my watch. She presses a button on some stand, as a pod opens up. Guards run in.
"Halt!" One of the guards command.
"Don't tell me what to do!" Mia closes the pod before fighting off the guards.
I try to open the pod, but it won't budge.. no…nonono! I can't keep losing people!
The Guards start overpowering her, holding her back.
"Natalie I'm sorry! I'm sorry for everything! It wasn't your fault!" She yells out, her arm breaks free from their grip, and presses a button launching the pod.
"No! Mia!!" I Yell out. Smacking the glass..
The pod enters Earth's atmosphere as my powers start returning..
No! I kick open the pod and fly out, my suit forming as I do.
I crashed into the ground, before pulling out my phone. How has this thing not been destroyed..
I turn it on, trying to see if there's anyone I can call.
Everett! He also put his number in here! He used to work with dad! He went by the Alias of The Crow!
I call him.
"Oh my God are you ok!? I heard the news, I even went by your place later.. i'm.. I'm sorry about your mom.." he says..
"I… I need help…" i say.
"I… I… I need a team… I… I can't fight this alone…"
