(Picture of character is above and once again is sideways!)

A massive rain storm punished all whom dared walk in it. While the storm raged, a tavern sat enduring the storm. In this tavern a couple of unfortunate patrons sat waiting out the storm.

A girl sat at one of the tables, looking at a photo of her and her family, before being startled by the loud clapping of the thunder.

As she sat there, many other patrons talked amongst each other.

"What is up with this storm? There was no warning or anything." A female patron asked her partner.

"From what I heard on the radio, it appeared out of the blue. Like it formed right here and didn't move." He responded.

"Well it better move soon. I'm tired of waiting."

The girl tuned them out, instead she noticed a different patron.

He sat in the corner of the tavern with a lit joint and and a crow. Many of the other patrons looked and whispered to each other, the man had grey hair in a high ponytail and bandages wrapped around his eyes and beside him was a long staff.

One of the more buff patrons decided to approach the blind man. "I'm pretty sure there's a sign saying no smoking. Can't you read?" The man said tauntingly.

The blind man just took a hit from his joint, and smiled widely. "*turns to the crow* Teke why didn't you read the sign?" He asked jokingly. Teke just cawed at him in response and he seemed to understand it.

The man started losing his patience with the blind man and started getting more aggressive. "Hey! You blind fuck! No smoking! *notices the smell of the joint* and your intoxicated!"

The blind man grabbed his staff and Teke flew to his shoulder. "Look ya loud failed abortion, I'm the fucking Wizard Man! Just because I lost my eyesight doesn't make me any weaker, if fact it made me stronger!"

"Ha! Your a fucking twig, I could snap you in half!" The man said as he approached the blind man.

"I would respect personal space if I were you." The blind man said.

"Hell no! We're going settle this now!" The man yelled before getting ready to swing his fist, Teke saw this and cawed to the blind man which aloud him to duck.

When he first got back up he pinpointed when the man was with sound and slammed his staff in his mouth, breaking his teeth in the process.

"I told you fucker, don't fuck with me." The blind man said as he walked up to him.

"Y-you moth-motherfucker!" The man yelled at the blind man, as the other patrons just watched in shock at how that escalated.

"That's why you don't attack the disabled." The blind man said. The girl decided to walked up to the blind man.

"Who-who are you?" She asked nervously.

He could tell from her voice that she was a kid so his demeanor changed to a soft one. " my name is Alex kid, but call me the Wizard Man."

"O-oh ok..." she said nervously.

Alex picked up on her tone and asked her a question, " how old are you?"

"I'm twelve about to be thirteen." She said timidly.

"Where's your parents?" He asked.

The girls demeanor changed, and she suddenly sounded depressed. "They died when i was young. I've been wondering around cities for food and water."

"And why are you at this tavern?" Alex asked the girl.

"The storm, I had no where else to go."

Alex nodded. "We're in the same boat kid. I would have gotten caught in it, if it wasn't for Teke." Alex then pounders for a moment before gesturing her to follow him.

"Come sit with me." He said in a warm tone.

The girl followed him to the table, and sat down with him. Once they sat down Teke jumped on the table in front of the girl and startled her.

"Don't be frightened, she's nice. She is my eyes." He said with a smile.

"That's cool! You use a crow to know where you are what is in your area, all because you bonded with a crow." She said excitedly.

Alex chuckles and asks her a question, " what's your name?"

"Zenaida." She said.

"Well, Zenaida the rain has let up. My time here is not long." He said to her.

"Wait take me with you!" She said.

"The path I'm taking is a dangerous one child." Alex said to her.

"But, you look like your only thirteen!" The Zenaida protested.

Alex tensed up, he has always looked younger than what he was. "I'll have you know I'm seventeen!"

"That's still pretty young..." she said.

Alex tilted his head, she had a point. But one thing beat that. " but I am mentally four hundred years old, I am a warlock." He said.

Zenaida was hesitant to believe it. She even tried not to laugh when he said that.

"Don't believe me?" Alex asked before holding out his hands with blue fire on them. "They tried to burn witches, but they once found out that it's impossible."

She was now fully convinced. "Woah, your more awesome than I thought!"

"Can I go with you and you train me?" Zenaida asked.

"*sighs* kid it's very dangerous, I am about to fight very dangerous people." He said seriously.

"Well, if I'm with you and you trained me it could boost your chances of winning!" She yelled.

Teke cawed loudly at Alex, "you think I should?" Teke cawed again, "*sighs* no!" Teke hisses at him "what has gotten into you?....fine..." he said defeated.

"Yay!" Zenaida yelled.

"You have to do exactly what I say. Got that?" He said sternly.

Zenaida smiled, " yes sir."

"Ok, get ready to move out. We're about to leave the rain is let up and it's walkable conditions so we must go" Alex said.

"I'm sorry if I sound stupid but how do you know that being blind?" She asked curiously.

Alex chuckles in response, " my hearing and Teke told me."

"Oh." She said, realizing it was a warlock thing between him and the crow."

"Ya know before we go I can tell you a story about when I fought the most beautiful woman ever, from what Teke described her that is." Alex said.

"How did Teke describe her?" Zenaida asked amused.

"Long black hair, thin body, grey skin, black eyes with white irises, sharp teeth, carries a long spear with a big blade the end. And apparently teleported like crazy." "That was nuts." He said running a hand through his hair in the ponytail.

"That sounds like a ghost. You fought a vengeful spirit and called it the most beautiful." Zenaida said trying not to laugh.

"Well I do think I got her name maybe" he said.

"Really?" Zenaida asked.

"Yep, Hisako." Alex said.

"That would make sense it sounds like a vengeful ghost name she is trying to avenge herself." Zenaida said.

"Yep, but sadly the talking needs to stop for it's time to walk."

"*deep breath* yeah I'm ready."

He smiles. "Good. Let's go"
