Chapter 37

YOUR POINT OF VIEW

I was woken up the next morning by my mum nudging me and shaking me, when I finally opened my eyes my mum was standing hovering above me ‘what?’ I groaned ‘I’m going to work and I need you to be awake to take Josh to school’ she said in a voice which is WAY too loud to use in the mornings ‘I know!’ I groaned louder this time rolling over and laying my head back down in the pillow ‘don’t be late’ she warned me before walking out and slamming my bedroom door shut. Seriously does this woman not know that I want to sleep and I kind of need all the sleep I can get because I’m going to be working hard long hours practically every day next week and plus Josh isn’t even going to school today but she doesn’t know that. After tossing and turning for about another half an hour I couldn’t get back to sleep so I decided to call Josh’s school and tell them that he is… ‘Ill’ gosh I hope that mum doesn’t find out of this because she WILL kill me but then again Josh is failing all his classes at school and yet she has no idea. I still need to talk to her about that but she just never seems to have time for us anymore, she didn’t come home until past eleven last night and she is already leaving again at just after seven in the morning. I pulled on some sweats and walked downstairs to the house phone… when I found the number for his school, I dialled it and waited it to ring ‘hello, I’m just calling to inform you that Josh (your surname) will not be attending school today as he has been very ill throughout the night’ I said formally into the phone ‘okay, thank you very much’ the women on the other end of the phone said right before hanging up on me. Okay so that one is all done! Justin told me that he would pick me and Josh up at around nine this morning and then go to Disney Land as that’s where Jazzy and Jaxon want to go but I haven’t been there in years so I am more than happy to go! I started to cook some breakfast for me and Josh whilst he kept on sleeping. It was only eight o’clock so we had an hour to get ready, once the food was almost cooked I decided to go and wake Josh up ‘josh, josh, josh wake up’ I said shaking him lightly, he didn’t say anything but he just rolled over and pulled the covers over his face shading his face from the light peeking through his blinds ‘wake up’ I said a little louder this time pulling the covers off of his body ‘WHAT?!’ he snapped at me, making me take a step back ‘whoa, I made you breakfast and you need to get ready’ I said walking backwards out of his room with my hands held above my head in retreat ‘thanks’ he mumbled as he gradually sat up in his bed rubbing his face in his hands, I walked out of the room fully and shut the door allowing him some time to get ready and come down and eat ‘mm smells good’ Josh said as he walked downstairs ‘I know, now eat I don’t have long to get ready’ I told him as I began to dive into my food ‘hey have you called the school?’ Josh asked me taking a huge bite of his breakfast ‘yep and they believed it so it’s all good!’ I said talking with my mouthful ‘thanks, and erm have you spoken to mum?’ he asked a little quieter this time as if he didn’t want me to hear him ‘not yet bud she’s been so busy I have barely spoken to her’ I said ‘but I promise I will as soon as I can’ I promised him ‘thanks YN’ he said smiling weakly ‘come on lets go get ready’ I said placing our dirty dishes into the sink he nodded in agreement before jogging upstairs to his room, I followed after him and went into my room. My hair was left to dry naturally as I had my loose curls falling down my back as I pulled out my makeup bag. Knowing I only had ten minutes to apply my makeup I only put on very light makeup; with little face make up and little eyeliner. I heard a loud car horn coming from outside so I grabbed my bag and threw in my keys, some makeup and purse and ran downstairs, pulling Josh down the stairs with me. I walked out the door and saw Justin leaning against the car door with his arms folded, sunglasses covering his eyes. He was looking sexy. ‘hey beautiful’ he said as he saw me as he stood up straight and walked towards me, resting his hands on my waist as he leaned down to kiss my lips sweetly making Jazzy and Jaxon make gagging noises in the back of the car ‘mm hello to you to’ I said as we pulled away from the kiss. Josh climbed into the back of the car as Justin opened the passenger seat for me as I slid in closing the door as Justin ran around the other side ‘hey Jazzy, hey Jaxon!’ I smiled as I turned around in my seat to see them, they both smile wide and waved ‘we’re going to Disney Land!’ Jazzy said as she clapped her hands together ‘I know! You excited?’ I asked her as she nodded hard and fast I was a little worried her head was going to fall off, I giggled at her and faced the road ‘you excited for today?’ Justin asked softly briefly taking his eyes off the road looking at me and then back to the road. He moved his hand over and rested it high on my thigh giving it a comforting squeeze ‘yeah’ I replied smiling wide ‘good’ he chuckled lightly ‘Jaxon stop!’ I heard Jazzy whine from behind me I turned around and saw them practically fighting in the back ‘Josh!’ I said pointing to them ‘what am I meant to do?’ he asked shrugging ‘something!’ I replied not entirely sure myself. I saw Justin look in his mirror at them two fighting ‘you two stop. Now!’ he said firmly as they both did but giggled slightly. Justin was going to be such as amazing dad one day and it’s bad that I keep thinking off that considering we haven’t even been together for a year now but I just can’t help it.

Once we arrived at Disney land Jazzy and Jaxon were bouncing off the walls and screaming with excitement ‘can you to be quiet?’ Justin asked facing them as he helped Jazzy out of the car and I helped Jaxon, they both shook their heads and laughed again I couldn’t help but let out a small laugh ‘Bieber I don’t want you to carry me’ Jazzy said pouting as I rested Jaxon on my hip and walked over to them ‘what? W-who then?’ Justin asked sounding a little disappointed. Jazzy stopped and turned around sucking on her right thumb before pulling it out and pointing up at Josh, I couldn’t help but laugh. Josh sighed and scooped her up so he was giving her a piggy back he wrapped her small arms around his neck squealing with excitement. ‘hey Jaxo want Justin to carry you?’ Justin asked Jaxon in a baby voice, Jaxon shook his head violently and his head in my neck, Justin let out a loud sigh ‘man, they used to love me’ he sighed ‘I love you’ I said trying to make him laugh, he looked up at me ‘good’ he said leaning in to give me a kiss, our lips were almost together when Justin’s head was pushed back and my mouth was covered by a little tiny hand that belonged to Jaxon who was resting on my hip ‘Jaxon?’ Justin asked a little confused, Jaxon just shook his head ‘I can’t even kiss my girlfriend’ he whined making Jaxon giggle ‘dude you need to get your own girlfriend and stop stealing mine’ Justin warmed him Jaxon shook his head again and wrapped his little arms around my neck. We all walked into Disney Land and queued up for tickets like normal people but when we got to the area where we were buying our tickets I pulled out my purse but Justin pushed it away making me stumble backwards ‘what?’ I asked him confused ‘I’m paying’ he said straight ‘no, now let me pay’ I said a little firmer ‘when are you going to understand that I’m not going to let you pay?’ he asked clenching his jaw, that’s a sign of when he gets angry and is he really getting angry over this ‘Justin stop being so ridiculous’ I muttered ‘how am I being ridiculous?’ he snapped back at me raising his voice slightly ‘whatever’ I muttered to myself as I walked away and stood with Josh and I sighed heavily ‘trouble in paradise?’ Josh teased laughing ‘shut up’ I muttered back ‘just asking’ he said as he took Jazzy off his back and set her on the ground ‘what’s your name?’ she asked Josh ‘I’m Josh’ he said smiling, he always has been good with kids, especially our little cousin Daisy, she is the sweetest ‘Josh can you be my boyfriend?’ Jazzy asked smiling sweetly at her, I was expecting him to be a little bit taken back by her asking that but he wasn’t he bent down to her height ‘of course’ he said smiling and kissed her cheek Jazzy then blushed a deep shade of red and looked down ‘come on then baby’ Josh said winking before scooping her up and putting her on his back again. Justin then came back with the tickets, but just barged past me without saying a word or looking at me ‘Jaxon do you want to go to Justin?’ I asked him but he just looked at me with sad eyes… Take that as a no. I feel sorry for Justin though, they came here for him and yet they aren’t spending much time with him ‘Justin?’ I asked softly ‘what?’ he snapped back at me rudely ‘what’s your problem?’ I snapped back at him ‘nothing’ he said clenching his jaw ‘then why am I here, you’re being rude I might as well just go home’ I snapped back at him handing Jaxon to him ‘maybe you should’ he said not looking at me
