Yandere The Legend of Zelda x reader headcanons (REQUESTS OPEN!)

Summary: We've made it back to the beginning. But better. Thanks for 1k <3

(TW: Oops. This one got a little dark.)

* After a long venture through the woods with Epona, Link finds you getting caught up with Skull Kid and the fairies.

* Link tries to help you fend off skull kid, but Skull Kid kidnaps you, Epona, and the Ocarina of Time.

* He eventually finds Skull Kid, but no sign of you or Epona.

* That freaks him out a little, but not as much as the fact that he gets turned into a Deku scrub.

* The rest of the three days play out as they normally would, other than the fact that you're determined to help Link get his regular form back.

* In his Deku form, He can't do much with you, but you start to grow on him (get it?)

* At this point it would be a "Good Friends" on the yandere scale.

* He likes to use his little Deku body to cling to you.

* Also, like your father, you like to wear big backpacks. So when Link's little stubby legs can't carry him, he curls up into your backpack and takes a power nap while you run your errands.

* After A while of running around in clock town for 3 days, it's time for Links confrontation.

* But as you know, time gets reset and Link frets that you forgot about him.

* But you didn't, so he gets his Hylian form back and asks for your help in stopping Skull Kid.

* You ask your father before accepting, and as time goes on, the scale starts to go up.

* He starts to glare at people who talk to you.

* He really likes it when you hug him and give him piggy-back rides.

* He likes to hold your hand and stick as close to you as possible

* Tatl's a bit skeptical of you, Link really likes you, so you must be a good person.

* Even though he's young, he's very smart. And knows how to make you agree with him on things.

* After he gets the other transformation masks, now you're the one getting the piggy-back rides, among other things.

* Link's gotten overly protective of you now, he fights anyone who so much as looks at you.

* As time goes on, he essentially brainwashes you into thinking that you two need each other to survive the dangers of Termina.

* But don't worry! You can trust Link with your safety! Right?

* Link starts to show off his awesome hero skills when you're watching (which is all the time.)

* He just needs you to think as highly of him as he does you! IS THAT SO HARD?

* He just wants you to be safe, and happy, and for you to know that you. Are. HIS.

* He can't stand the thought of going back to Hyrule without you!

* So, as time goes on Link will start to plant little thoughts in your head about what life would be like without him

* So much so that now you don't feel like you're safe all alone.

* TRUST HIM. That's all that he asks.

* Finally, The time has come for Link to face off with Skull Kid.

* While he's fighting in the moon, you're sitting scared on the sidelines.

* That fuels Link to fight harder, so he can protect what's HIS.

* It's a tall task, but he doesn't give up. Eventually, He wins, and Termina returns to normal.

* Link tells the Happy Mask Salesman that you're coming with him, no questions asked.

* Years go by, and You and Link are all grown up now.

* Locked in a relationship with a delusional fairy boy, and a too trusting lover.

* He retains most of his traits from childhood, but amplified by 100

* You trust him, so he should show you the affection you deserve!

* Maybe, a little too much affection.

* It's an endless cycle, but Link doesn't care.

* The Moon will never fall. You're trapped. No escape.
