The soft touch of skin felt like the ultimate solace after all the tensions that were boiling inside both the hearts. It's through this touch that they acknowledged the mutual affection they shared. Although Namjoon partook the dominating role in that horrible kiss with Ha-jin, today his lips felt numbness at the contact with the other set of skin.

In the next moment, he felt the other pair of lips moving while guiding his own. This encouraged Namjoon to actively participate in the process. As Jungkook tried to push his tongue inside the other's mouth, Namjoon's hands automatically got lifted up to be rested on the elder's shoulders. For a better access, Jungkook pulled him by the waist with lessened distance between the two bodies.

In the ecstasy of the swirling of the other's tongue inside his mouth, Namjoon took back his hands to take off his jacket that was making him sweat more in this intimate moment. Throwing it off somewhere in the car, he pushed himself closer to Jungkook with his hands feeling those hard muscles on the elder's shoulder. With a final taste of each other's lips, they pulled away from the kiss to resume their normal breathing.

Jungkook couldn't take off his eyes from the closed ones of Namjoon that expressed how shy the later would have been feeling at the sudden sweet moment like this. He placed a peck on the cheeks of the younger that felt too smooth at the tip of his lips.

"Do you regret it, Namjoon?"
The said man slowly opened his eyes to meet the yearning face of Jungkook.
"I don't, Jungkook."
After a moment of quiet breathing, Jungkook pulled him to a hug, rubbing Namjoon's back to provide him reassurance of their newfound feelings that seemed nothing but pure and reciprocal.

"I like you, not just because of today, since the day I met you." Jungkook said against the Namjoon's shoulder being slightly shorter than him. Namjoon pulled away from the hug being overwhelmed at the confession. He has his doubts but it wasn't surrounding the topic of him being away from Jungkook.

"I don't know what this is, Jungkook. I feel there's some connection between us but I've never been with a boy before, rather I wasn't aware of this kind of feelings before I met you. Can you please give me some time? I don't want to make this awkward but is it okay if we keep meeting without talking about any romantic feelings for each other till I figure it out?"

Jungkook sincerely nodded at the question with a smile saying, "I can understand, Namjoon. Take time, I will wait for your answer. And if it's about your family not accepting your true self, just so you know, I am there for you."

Namjoon immediately hugged the man once again taking in the warmth of his embrace. He wanted to be imprisoned in that embrace forever, but the reality had to be encountered too. With a last peck on the lips, Namjoon got out of the car to the parking lot while Jungkook watched him driving off with a heart full of dreams.

Namjoon rushed to his room before locking the door and sat on the floor with hands holding his head. Mix of happiness and fear ran through his veins, pushing him to the edge of anxiety. He tightly shut his eyelids to picture Jungkook's face, to feel his touch that vanquished all the negativities in his mind, putting up a small smile at the corner of his lips.

"He likes me! I like him too! Is it too fast to admit? What if he thinks I'm not interested? His family cut ties with him after coming out, what if mine does the same? Will it be worth of leaving my parents for a guy I just kissed?"

Namjoon started showering himself with questions as he stood facing his reflection on the mirror. It wasn't a doubt that he wanted to be with the man, take the chance, but the consequences he might have to face worried him to rethink. A sudden flow of cold air brushed his body when he remembered the jacket was left in Jungkook's car. Without pondering much, he smiled at his reflection.

"I think it's time for you to get out of your shell."

The dusky sky leapt on to his face joining to the rejoice of the acknowledgment he received for his feelings. Jungkook rested his back at the wall of his small balcony with lots of hope and insecurities running inside his head. He was happy for their moment and relieved to have confessed, but whether Namjoon would accept him or not was still uncertain.

Recollecting the fresh memories of today, his heart started beating faster as he still felt the touch of Namjoon's lips on his. Revisiting the moment more than once wouldn't harm him as he the thought. This wasn't their first hangout, but this was the longest they ever spent time with each other. Jungkook concluded that time is what Namjoon needs to realise his feelings for him, if there is any.

The way Namjoon talked about art was impressive to the elder and the philosophy behind those meanings were noteworthy. To his utter dislike, this reminded him of the framed painting he found in Byeol's house. He hated whenever his work popped up while reminiscing moments with Namjoon, but it was difficult to shrug off considering someone's life depended on it.

He quickly dialled the number of the art gallery reception where he submitted the evidence for relevant data. No one received the call, so he cut it after few rings. He made a note of checking it by going to the place himself tomorrow.
